Sunny Deol was actually cast in a guest appearance but walked away with the Best Actor's award. His entry scene was at the Interval of the movie and the entire audience in the theatre went nuts when he first appeared in the film. This film was a Super Duper Hit.
It was a pretty awesome entrance. The film immediately took on a different tone as soon as he showed up.

If I am not wrong, it's the only character of Sunny Deol ever where he is shown smoking. Sunny Deol's acting was at same level at Amrish Puri's. Most powerful and iconic dialogues.

Steven Spielberg was a big fan of Amrish Puri (Chaddha in this movie). He considered him as his favourite villain. In fact, he said Puri was the best villain the world had ever seen.
He has acted in Hollywood movies as well like in the Steven Spielberg’s and George Lucas film “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” (1984) and in Richard Attenborough's “Gandhi” (1982)

Rajkumar Santoshi is one film-maker from The hindi film industry whose movies never disappoints me. He specialises in difficult subjects of society. Even his not so well to do movies like Lajja points fingers at a lot of social issues plaguing india.
I don't think anybody would ever recommend you that movie and so i would. When you get time do give that movie a watch.

Damini is a certain type of movie that I can't watch very often because it is such heavy subject. The acting was amazing and I did enjoy it and I rated it very high but if I was choosing a genre to watch I would choose comedy and action over drama. Our daily lives have so much drama and sadness in them already that I like to escape into a world of comedy and high intensity action of a hero's journey.

I am a 90s kid I grew up listening to the songs of this movie , hearing praises of this movie, enacting lines from this movie but .... I had never got the chance to watch this movie .... Like even 1 one bit. Idk why. I knew it is one of the best of the 90s and often talked about even today but it's just that this movie is not easily available on platforms I go to. I can find any 90s movie on UA-cam but not this one. I know because after watching the first part of your reaction video I tried searching it on UA-cam and it is not there. Anyway , this is my First time watching this movie today even though I have grown up hearing about this movie. It almost feels like a crime 😂 to not have watched this movie eons ago... when my peers were watching.
Sunny deol really made his mark in this movie and that 2½ kilo ka haath line from him is a legendary line now.
Now that i finally watched it ( even though in bits and pieces ) I feel like a baggage has been lifted from my shoulders. ...phhe.

I have watched these reactions a few times now. I feel compelled to tell @08:11 asking about the jeep's key. Sunny Deol motioned to Amrish Puri to answer. Like how does your witness know which vehicle was it, when he couldn't answer. He didnt mean who is next.
Also, he pointed out - this detail was not known to Urmi's killers like Chaddha and inspector Kadam (He is implying they are the killers)

When Damini picks up the Sickle. That's also symbolism for communism and India of that time was very socialistic and very much edit looked up to the Soviet Union's model.
I thought it was more of a pick axe than a sickle but I didn't know that. Very powerful scene right there.
