Dude, anyone that goes LIVE deserves respect. It is incredibly difficult & will not mimic a "perfect condition studio". This is a LIVE human being putting forth, we can assume, his best effort for their #1 song....give him some props.

I appreciate that he's actually pretty close to the album. Sure a little flat and sharp here and there but ya it's hard when you have to configure a mic's gain way differently for a live show than a studio recording. He did a better job live than most rock singers from his era actually!

Met a few of these guys after a show in St. Louis last year. The guitar player, Tater was kind of a mild asshole, but Brian the drummer was a really down to earth nice guy, we talked for a bit and I even bummed him a cigarette. good times!

I’ve seen the multiple times in small venues. They kill it but some bands aren’t able to fill that large room. Also they are over seas on the road going hard. It was a different time then.
