  • For the first time, Jaby and Kristen react to the first film of the franchise, Final Destination, about a student (Devon Sawa (Now & Then & Idle Hands) who's ready to take a trip to Europe, only to be kicked out of the plane along with some others after informing everyone that he had a premonition that they'd all die, only for his premonition to come true.
    This film also stars: Ali Larter (Legally Blonde & Obsessed) and Kerr Smith (Dawson's Creek & Life Unexpected)

    All horror movies are designed to try and make you afraid of something, but this franchise makes you afraid of everything, and it does it so well. Also, can we all agree that William Bludworth is the best character?

      Legitimately when I first saw this movie about three years ago I was terrified of what could happen to me for like a whole night, luckily I was able to get over it after I slept all those fears away. It really says a lot about how good this movie is to elicit that much fear in me

    This movie was originally written to be an episode of the X-Files. Those two agents were going to be Mulder and Skully. Then it was decided to make a full-length film instead.
    Final Destination 2 is a direct sequel to this, but afterward they tend to be their own thing with the same basic idea. There are some rough entries, but it does end on a high note.

    • @willdallas53
      @willdallas53 11 місяців тому

      No it wasn’t and no they weren’t. They approached the studio with the idea to make it an xfiles episode and the studio passed for the show but someone thought it would be a good idea for a movie. There was no script and no fbi agents when they pitched it to the xfiles, just the idea of death coming after people.

      @zeeshanismail7768 11 місяців тому

      its impossible to evacuate during a crash and at the spped the plane decents after crash is imminent plane would already be at a height where its impossible to open a parachute

    • @hjmuhdfirdaus3038
      @hjmuhdfirdaus3038 2 місяці тому

      One parachute system is about 10 kg. If you multiply that to 200, for example, that would be around 2 tonnes of weight being carried inside the plane. Also the bag is so bulky it wouldnt even fit under the seat or the ovehead compartment. Also parachute jumping isnt something any untrained person should ever attempt by themselves.
      Finally, air accidents happened in a variety of ways, some happened in high altitudes, some at very low altitudes, some while plunging straight down, some during landing, or take off, all of which would be very dangerous for any parachute jumping attempt anyway. So instead of equipping everybody with parachutes, airplanes were made much more safer, and that shows in that statistically air travel is the safest form of transportation nowadays.

    These movies genuinely made a lot of people self aware of their surroundings, myself included. After watching them I almost always hesitated in everything I did out in the streets for fear of the outcome. Every action has a reaction and a lot of people go by without realizing that some of those actions could have a VERY negative effect on your safety... lol 😫 It wasn't even the sheer impossibility of the movies but the moments that could actually happen IRL that made it scary AF.

    I remember i saw this movie 1 day before take a plane, OMG ! I had anxiaty leve 100 i couldn't sleep. The actor who played the one who saved some of the group of the crash is the actor who have played "Stan" in the music video of Eminem "Stan". The actor at 13:40 is the one who played Candyman , an horror movie really famous like Freddy and Jason for example.
    31:30 : there is also a question about who gave the vision of one person about the accident before it happen ? did they put the Death in the position of the Vilain ? And the entity who give the vision before it happen is it the Good entity ? Or is it just a coincidence the human can intercept the signal of the Death and see the vision of what happen before it happen ? Then Death correcte this incident by killing the survivors in the good order (Because Universal Order).

    FYI they used the crash of TWA flight 800 back in 1996 for the premise of the movie. They even use the stock video aftermath of the crash for the news scene.
