Nanaimo's Wackiest Pirate Mayor, Frank Ney

There is a very interesting statue that overlooks Nanaimo's waterfront. The harbour city's longest running mayor, Frank Ney was also known as "Black Frank" a quirky and outgoing character who loved to promote his city as the Bathtub Capital of the World!
