As a more velumptuous lady myself, seeing you playing Veronica (and Wednesday for that matter) was unbelievably affirming. It's one of the few times I've seen someone shaped like myself in a musical, and they were both women who knew their own mind, got what they wanted and could sing the f'ing house down. Please remember that for every troll are 10 people feeling uplifted at seeing someone like themselves.
Yep, I will never forget Carrie's Dead Girl Walking. It was so unbelievably moving to see someone with a similar body type to my own commanding such an unapologetically powerful and sexy scene. Seeing a range of body types onstage is so important :)
Yeah! As someone who is also in theatre with a bigger body type and wants to pursue it professionally it’s so inspiring to watch Carrie who’s an amazing person and actress succeed!
Oh no! I'm so sorry you went through such turmoil when playing Veronica in Heathers! Honestly, your powerhouse performance, the vibe from whole cast and being in such a fun environment sparked my love for musical theater. It was an absolute joy to experience and hope you can look back on it with fondness now. Iconic. 👑
I'm so glad that you mention the fact of 'having a life outside the theatre' as a dresser and wardrobe person who oftens tours or stays to one venue, I know to well what you mean when you feel like you have to be a nun for a bit, eight shows a week is tough and you certainly can feel tied to that one place without the energy or spoons to head outside/explore the city/live socially/drink etc. Thank you for exploring your roles so honestly and without completely ripping yourself apart over what was and what will never be again x
Ive been waiting for this! Veronica will always be my favourite role you’ve played. Heathers as a whole and the character mean so much and it sparked my love for musical theatre
I adore the 2018 performance! You and Jamie were made to be the perfect Veronica and J.D duo! Pretty upset I didn’t know about Heathers then, as I would have LOVED to see it live. But that’s okay! I kid you not, when I first started getting into Heathers, I listened to your cover of Dead Girl Walking on repeat all day, just because you sounded so beautiful! (It’s my favourite song, I love the chorus’ rhythm and tempo) Love you, loved the cast, loved your Veronica Vlogs, and love your other content!
I think the more positive Veronica comments after the role were a lot of fans who YOU introduced the show to! You were my Original Veronica and I loved the way you did it- I think the first version you get introduced to will always be people’s favourite version, so just remember how many people LOVE your version! ❤
Hey Carrie! I saw you in the fabulous Crown Jewels this week, I’m not sure what I found funnier… the actual show or the two people sat next to me arguing about whether you all were playing more than one character each. We weren’t that far away but the lady wasn’t having it from anybody that you had multiple roles!! 😂😂 Fantastic show, I loved it. 🥳
Carrie! I know cinderella was an incredibly challenging experience and it shows how strong you all were but i wanted you to know, your performance of Cinderella really effected me in the best way. It taught me so much and it was the first time i saw a character on stage and said "thats me" and i am now singing i know i have a heart for my singing exam. So thank you for that incredible performance even when times are tough ❤
it must have been so hard to jump on the heathers train with such a passionate fanbase, but you seemed (at least from where i'm standing) to handle it with such poise and grace, as well as the best attitude ! those veronica vlogs are such a source of joy honestly, i still go back and watch every now and then !
Given how many decently popular videos (as far as musical theater videos are ever popular) have been made about ALW's Cinderella/Bad Cinderella, I'm thrilled to hear you talk about it even just a little yourself. You're professional as always, but I do think it's important to hear at least a little of your current feelings as people on the outside are deconstructing and analyzing it.
Ooooh I have so much to say! 1. My local theatre is doing The Addams Family Musical (in German) and I'm going to the premiere in two weeks. I am so excited to see it but also scared of the translation. 2. I was blessed to be able to see you in the full production of Les Mis as Fantine! In January 2020, on my birthday, I flew to London to see you and I bawled my eyes out. You were absolutely fantastic as was everyone else in that cast, I've never seen so much talent on one stage. 3. I may or may not have seen the slime tutorial of Heathers. I know you were not well when this was filmed and it was your last (?) performance so emotions were heightened, but even if this wasn't your best, you were still incredible. I cannot believe anyone could do that. 4. I'm glad you talk so openly about Cinderella. As an outsider, I admire how the cast and crew held together and even though the public knew very little about it while it was happening, everyone was very civil about it when it finally came to light. You were mistreated and I hope that this is a wake up call for the responsible party to change their way. I for one will no longer be supporting them. 5. This is an incredible set of roles to have successfully played. I am very much looking forward to everything that is to come. That's it. That's my rant.
Doubt you will see this now Carrie but I wanted to say congratulations to you and Joel on your new little one you are going to welcome into the world next year. Wishing you all the joy and happiness and that you bring up that little bean to be a big disney fan :)
I had never been emotionally affected by hearing “I Dreamed A Dream” until I saw you as Fantine in the concert version and witnessed your portrayal of her. I had never cried at that song until I heard you sing it and something resonated so deeply within me that I found myself in floods of tears during that scene. So no matter what others might have said at stage door, I want to thank you for playing Fantine because I never truly connected with her story until I saw you play her. ❤
I thoroughly agree. I Dreamed a Dream is so iconic I think I had got a bit jaded by it, but seeing Carrie treat the song and story of Fantine in her own way completely changed the way I see that character. I've seen Carrie perform twice live in roles I'm familiar with (Fantine and Beth in War of the Worlds) and I can confidently say she brought a new perspective to each character that made me see them a little differently. Superb performances, both 👏
The way I KNEW Wednesday and Eponine would be your top two!! This was such a great video!! The way you speak about Cinderella is so respectful after what happened I could never 😂 You and that cast went through some things for real!!
Loved the way you ranked these! I love that you have played a huge variety of roles especially ones that people wouldn’t necessarily expect you to play. Songs from CCC still randomly pop into my head! I always look forward to hearing of your next project as I love watching you take on new things and I know, like all your previous roles, you’ll absolutely smash them. I’d like to see your Elphaba! And just so you know, your version of I dreamed a dream is my absolute favourite and my mums! 🫶🏻
I’m not surprised as the songs from CCC were absolute masterpieces! I’ve been so lucky in my career to play some incredible roles. Hopefully more on the horizon! ♥️
So sad that Cinderella was such a hard job. It's been the only one I've managed to make it out to London for, being a Belgian girl, and hearing you sing live felt life changing. I hope to see you perform in many more shows and hopefully those will bring you more joy than Cinderella ever did.
when I saw you ranked wednesday first, I SCREAMED!! I'm in the addams family rn and ive been watching all your performances, you were INCREDIBLE!! deffo needs a rerun on broadway !!!!
You've definitely played a wide variety of versatile roles, Carrie. Wednesday, Eponine and Veronica are certainly my favourites, and the most iconic! 😻💙
I'm from the U.S., so my only experience with the Cinderella show you were in was buying the cd of the cast recording. I love it so much, especially all of the songs you sing.
Éponine was the first role I saw you do and it has always stood out to me as one of your best. I miss everything about the original Les mis, I miss the revolve, the old costumes e.t.c. I sobbed so much during that show, just beautiful ❤ I also saw you as Veronica and Wednesday and both were amazing 😍 Just fantastic shows xx
Carrie we came down to London to see you in Heathers but saw Olivia make her debut instead as you were unwell (she was incredible btw) but wasn’t you! So we came down from Yorkshire to see Heathers again and you were just fabulous. The way you sing, the power, the feeling made a 54 yr old cry much to my daughter’s dismay. Never doubt yourself or the way you can make an audience feel about music, the story and themselves 😘
I've only seen you live in Chitty in Cardiff and you're totally right. You did an amazing job and you were so lovely at stage door afterwards (thank you for signing my copy of OTOS)! I definitely felt like it wasn't a role that was stretching you though you seemed like you were having a great time. So interesting to hear how you felt about all your different roles.
I honestly did miss these little chatty videos! I'm not always on YT anymore, but it's nice to come back and see Carrie's face on my recommended page:)
I recently went and watched The Crown Jewels with my boyfriend, not a theatre lover and he thought you were amazon. I happened to run into you afterwards and i after following you for 10+ years I was star struck! I’ve seen you in multiple shows now and I think you’re brilliant. Veronica Sawyer was brilliant… ❤
Jo in Little Women would be the only other role i can think of as demanding energy, vocally and emotionally as Veronica. I mean, Elle as someone else mentioned, and Elphaba for sure, but Jo is such a rollercoaster and a dream role im determined to do before im too old for it 😂
I'd also say Katherine Howard in Six - none of the queens really leave the stage, they all sing backup for eachother and have that crazy energetic chorey, then on top of that K Howard has the longest and most emotional song in the show, where you have to play realising trauma every show.
When it was announced that you would be playing Veronica in a Uk run of Heathers I was sooo excited. Not only would I actually get a chance to see one of my favourite shows live. I knew it was in great hands and you actually exceeded my expectations! It's sad that people have a tendency to voice negative feelings and not positive ones.
What fun reminiscing your roles. So many memories. I loved CCC, which if im honest surprised me. The Crown Jewels is a riot😂 Your career certainly has been phenomenal 🤩 long may it continue!
i really LOVED this video! i find it so interesting hearing what every job consisted of and how found it personally. you smash every role you do and i hope you’re so so proud of yourself - as we all are❤
Seeing you play Veronica was amazing! You were so good and seeing you play Veorniva definitely was great! I'm sorry you were in such mental block during it but you were great at it and it definitely brought a ton to the fandom
It won't let me add for some reason but I'm really gonna miss west end because there were so many amazing actors and I'm glad you were the first west end Veronica
I’m so happy you placed Wednesday as the top. She’s the only role I have been lucky enough to witness you play (hall for Cornwall) I had not long had a c- section having my twin boys and nothing was going to stop me being able to see you on the stage. You were the reason I was going after all- turned out to be one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! You’re such a talent! And honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if you was in wicked one day!! Congratulations on your wonderful news also Mama xx
I saw you in war of the worlds, seeing you perform live was so memorable and I cannot wait to see whats next for you. I've been here since before eponine (i remember crying at the announcement video!) and since then you have accomplished so much and should be so proud! All the love to you and best wishes for the future❤
Feeling very lucky to have been able to see Carrie in 6 out of 9 of these shows (and with tickets to see The Crown Jewels soon!!) She is so talented, and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next 🥰
I'm so glad you vlogged so much of Addams Family. As a viewer watching you grow in your confidence as a person and performer was so special. Also any video with you and scott is a treat! You two are a hoot and a half!
Carrie you are the GOAT! You are one of the most amazing, talented yet most humble and beautiful people in musical theatre there is! Your resume is basically all my dream roles and I look up to you so much!!!
I saw Heathers at New Wimbledon Theatre last weekend after listening to the Off Broadway recording and hadn’t realised that there were 3 songs in the UK version that weren’t in the US. All three have since got onto my Spotify playlist and your performance of Veronica is amazing! I’m sorry you got such a hard time from people that probably never went to see your performance on stage. Saw you in The Crown Jewels in Cardiff last month as well and thought you were the best thing in it, and I went in looking forward to seeing Al Murray, Mel Giedroyc and Joe Thomas.
Absolutely loved this video ❤ It breaks my heart every time I hear about how hard it was to work on Cinders 😢 not sure it helps, but that show had been a joy and a soul-healing experience for me and my friends after the pandemic, we still listen to the beautiful soundtrack religiously ❤
I always enjoy watching you onstage, whether it’s in a theatre as a character (or your own show, it was so lovely meeting you) or on UA-cam behind the scenes of a production
I love these kinds of videos. Your love for acting and musical theatre is just so wonderful to experience. Also, I know you the other reason you miss the full stage is because of your starring performance as Petrice the Potato Peeler. (: (: (: I watch back a lot of your vlogs and the Addams Family are some of my favorites because you can see how much FUN you were having throughout the tour. I cry every time it gets to the last one and you are crying saying "Goodbye Wednesday". 😭😭
I have never seen you Carrie live on stage, however I would have loved to have seen your ‘Cinderella’ in spite of it coming low down on your personal list. From the songs I have seen, your singing of them, and the emotion shown was beyond fantastic. Well done, and all the best for the future.
Ahh, this is an awesome video! A brilliant way to structure them all. There was a warmth around your time as Eponine and Wednesday which I'll never forget - a special time for you and a special time in the history of both shows. Your take on Veronica was phenomenal (and it's mad that you were dealing with so much negativity when performing what are now some of the most incredible versions out there!), but I think we were all just pleased that you left the show in one piece!! What an amazing ten years 🎶 (as an aside, remember to add the link at 16:25 🙂)
Ahh I added a “card” at 16:30 but doesn’t seem to be showing up on my phone either. Fingers crossed it does on desktops! If not I’ll fix when I’m home tonight! Yeah I think Eponine and Wednesday were just surrounded with such happiness and excitement. Special shows and special times! And hopefully more of those to be had in the future! ♥️
@Carrie Definitely! Every role you've played must mean a lot in it's own way, but then some that come along are just really special. Thank you, Carrie 🙂
This was so much fun to play along with! I was pretty accurate as well so I’m pleased 😂 I think the only one I was off on was Fantine, just because I was judging with how little time she has on stage comparatively. I love getting to hear you reflecting on your roles, you always have unique tidbits or stories - are you considering going back to your showverview series someday?
Fantine might get little stage time as herself but you then get to be in the ensemble and hide in the back in the barricade and that makes it SO much fun! Glad you guessed the rest! ♥️ Yes I will definitely return to the Show-Verview series! 100%!
Brilliant and graceful take on your very varied career so far. I was so glad I saw Caucasian Chalk Circle (by the skin of my teeth on closing night!) and that you captured one of the songs on video at least. It really was masterful and felt like an important moment for you to show what else you could do in the next phase of your life as a performer. Here’s to all your boxes being ticked many times over into the future! x
Aww I’m so glad you saw CCC seeing as it was such a short run! I loved being able to play such an emotional character that goes on such a HUGE journey. ♥️
What a fab video and such a real reflection on varied parts you played. Was at last night of cinderella and the whole cast smashed it you all rose above it and its been incredible watching what you have done since. Open book tour was immense and just back from seeing Crown Jewels today its brilliant laugh. Keep being who you are there is no stopping your talent. ❤❤❤
Loved this video! Seeing you as Wednesday is one of my theatre highlights, the whole show was incredible but i remember my Mum leaning over to me halfway through the first act and saying how amazing your voice was!
My high school did the Addams Family Musical and I was on paint crew for it, and it’ll always be one of my favorite experiences. I’m so glad it was such a great experience for you, it’s an incredible musical
Carrie is literally so amazing at all the roles she's been in! She's so good at them I really sad I weren't there when u played them :( keep up the good work Carrie ❤🎉
I'm 9 years old I watched u in ur tour at Salford and met you at stage door. I had ur hopeful merch on! Ur tour was phenomenal ✨️ I was the little girl who gave you the chocolate did u like it?! ❤😂🎉
Was fortunate enough to get to see you as Wednesday and so glad its in your top tier, it was my first live theatre musical and will always be in my top tier too!
I think that you were part of the change when you played Veronica. And as hard as that was or is for you, I hope that knowing you became an idol for loads of people who look like you who thought they couldn’t get those roles unless they ‘get skinny’ and changed a few attitudes brings comfort to you now.
Whilst I am fully with the cast and crew when it comes to how badly Cinderella was handled from above, I have to say I adored the show and I miss it so much! I loved everything about it, saw it over 20 times and regularly listen to the songs. You were fantastic in it Carrie, as was absolutely everyone in the cast.
Aw Carrie congratulations on your pregnancy ❤ I came to see you in les mis a few years ago. I’ve been following you since. Lovely to see you so happy x
Loved seeing you in Addams Family, it was such a joy of a show to watch! Love seeing you talk about your roles. Saw Heathers on tour earlier this year which was fab, an Veronica is such a demanding role!
It’s such a shame Cinderella was ruined for you by the higher ups 😢 It’s one of mine and my husband’s favourite musicals we’ve ever seen. We managed to see it 7x and I will treasure my program that yourself and several of the cast members signed at stage door. We still listen to the soundtrack now! Yourself and all the cast were amazing. We were gutted when the closure was announced.
AHHH IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO!!! veronica will always be my favourite roll of yours! the bootleg will always have a special place in my heart and the cast are just amazing and beautiful people! i saw cinderella and it was the first time seeing you in a show which was amazing! i’m seeing crown jewels in less then a month now in canterbury and i’m so excited! amazing video as always, carrie!! 🫶
Woohoo just the best! I adore you in the concert as Fantine! Thank you for talking about Cinderella....when it happened i thought "i wonder if patti lupone will reach out given sunset history"
I watched you in the Crown Jewels, you were out of this world, every single note you sung was perfection, you were so nice outside the stage door, I treat the Heathers Notebook that you signed that day as if it’s the most valuable thing I own (which it is). You are by far one of the most talented actresses I’ve ever heard, and being able to watch you in the Crown Jewels was an experience I’ll never forget
Ahh, challenging or not, you smashed the roles you’ve on taken so far and I can’t wait to see what you get up to next. Saw you in the Crown Jewels today and you looked like you were having a blast! Such a great show! ❤
Love this video! I ended up playing a game along with you and trying to see if I could guess which role was in which category! So much fun to listen to and watch 🥰 You have an amazing catalogue of work ❤️ I got to see you in Cinderella and then again in Caucasian Chalk Circle - they were both incredible but Chalk Circle was something else - and then we got to meet you after. Just an absolutely amazing play!
If it helps I took my family to see you in Cinderella just after my mum died and it was so nice to just have a day out where the kids, me and hubby could escape the reality. You were all amazing in it and it it really helped us through an awful time. Despite all the drama you endured the audience at the show we went to loved it and you made some good memories for those who came ❤
This was wonderful to watch, as an Adams I will forever be gutted my ncs meant I couldn't see you in Southampton. But seeing you in the les mis concert will always be a special memory as its when I got to meet you ❤ But also heathers was my first trip with my best friend to see a theatre show on our own and we now go 2-3 times a year together! It started a wonderful tradition. I'm so sorry you had such negative comments on veronica you were incredible ❤
I still remeber you in chitty and how much joy you felt - at the beginning is still one of my favourite covers you did with the child catcher haha! Sending big love and best wishes for all your future roles ❤
Also you were phenomenal as Veronica! I travelled down to London for the day just to see you in the matinee! It was TOTALLY worth it and I’m so glad I watched you!!!
It makes me so emotional to watch you wearing an engagement ring. I think about little 13 year old me sitting in her bedroom watching you make "fairy fails" videos, in front of your bookshelf, and watching you sing "boys in books are better." I'm 22 now and I feel like an eternity has past. We've all been through so much. I love you Carrie, thanks for being there for me on my rainy days and especially now.
I actually haven't seen any of your work but discovered you when you did the narration for Tiffy in The Flatshare audiobook! I adore it and you were perfect!!! ❤ I love that you have red hair like she does too 😄❤
As someone who lives in Australia who doesn't get to see you in really any shows I'm just glad I got to see you at least once in a show even if Cinderella wasn't your favourite experience. At least you have the friends from that time that's a positive. Can't wait to see what's ahead in the future for you Carrie 💜💜💜
you’ve played so many!! veronica is definitely my favorite and i saw what you were saying about the comments. i don’t have a single negative thing to say about you’re performance of her!! you were amazing, and they should’ve given you that love when it was going on. stay beautiful💙💙
It was so exciting to see you in a very new genre. I really want the caucasian chalk circle official recording! The songs uploaded on youtube are brilliant and interesting.
I'd love to know more about how you choose which roles to audition for/accept, especially as your star has risen over the years! I imagine you get lots of offers, short and long term
I *loved* the video! One of the things I've always most admired about you is how you seem to completely defy the type-casting stereotypes, playing characters which are entirely different and SMASHING IT every time. It was wonderful to see you reflect on your performances and wonderful to hear that even _The Show Which Shall Not Be Named_ can be smiled at now. I hope that whatever roles you may play in the future will tick as many of the boxes as possible!! (And as one of the biggest ever fans of your Veronica I'm am SO sorry for any negativity recieved during your run; you were incredible and you shone despite the challenges the role provided) ❤
I don't know much about Heathers the Musical, but when I was watching your vlogs of it, it reminded me a little bit of any person playing Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, in that it's very vocally and emotionally strenuous, there's very little time off stage and everyone is going to compare you to the "original." Bravo for getting through the run!
I’ve never seen you perform so I really appreciate this list. I’m from America and now I think I have a few new dream roles. Hopefully I’m not too old now to play some of them. Congratulations on your pregnancy Carrie! ❤
I love videos like this, tbh I can listen to you talk about anything theatre related for hours haha. Little sit down and talk videos like this are just amazing
It's so sad to hear that Cinderella was such a... train wreck... behind the scenes. I was so excited to come and see it, as it was an ALW show I thought it would be on for long enough that I'd get a chance! So, of course I was upset by its closing. But knowing what we know now, I'm glad it ended when it did for you all - even if it was a terrible way of going about it - since as you said, relief came with it. Has that experience dulled your view of ALW shows? Would you be in another ALW show if offered?? I have only SEEN you in Addams Family, which was so amazing. But there have been many shows that I wanted to watch, and saw west end lives of or snippits of through promo etc... I am glad to see that you had a lot of fun at the majority of your roles and they weren't all just turmoil / too much of a challenge. Thank you, also, for introducing me to Heathers because it is up there as one of my favourite shows now! :) (sad to see that end as well!)
Im so upset I wasnt able to see the addams family!! I had my tickets booked for Oxford and was so very excited cause I had fan casted you as Wednesday for years but then alas it closed early... hope I have a chance in the future
Despite the troubles with cinderella i think you did a beautiful job. All of you. And i love the show and the music. Thats whats remembered now. And the broadway is being compared to your performance anyway as theatre does and, you lot as a cast will always shine through to us ❤ and how you guys handled it is a testament to that xxx
I love perusing your bookshelf in the background, only found out recently that why we broke up and a series of unfortunate events is the same author! ❤
Love this video! It's always nice to hear about the shows from an actor's point of view, because we just get to see the finished product and so it's nice to hear about what went into making those shows so great. :) Also it was fun to look back at where I was in my life when you were playing each of those roles , because I've been around since 2012. Awesome video.
Me too!
@@emily7478it's almost as if it's not just exclusively skinny people who have sex in real life! Lol
Yep i totally agree
Oh no! I'm so sorry you went through such turmoil when playing Veronica in Heathers! Honestly, your powerhouse performance, the vibe from whole cast and being in such a fun environment sparked my love for musical theater. It was an absolute joy to experience and hope you can look back on it with fondness now. Iconic. 👑
The subtle shade to the 'higher ups' of Cinderella (ALW👀) was hilarious!
Heathers was special. And seeing how people responded to the show and the story made it even more so! ♥️
My husband took out then 15 yr old daughter to see Heathers they were both blown away by your performance x
(It’s my favourite song, I love the chorus’ rhythm and tempo)
Love you, loved the cast, loved your Veronica Vlogs, and love your other content!
@Carrie where would u put carrie boss as that character was not on here x
Same
I think the more positive Veronica comments after the role were a lot of fans who YOU introduced the show to!
Fantastic show, I loved it. 🥳
Was not expecting to see you here lol😂 Love your videos!
You were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE as Cinderella. Your voice is SOOO ASTOUNDINGLY BEAUTIFUL 😭😍👏🏻

It taught me so much and it was the first time i saw a character on stage and said "thats me" and i am now singing i know i have a heart for my singing exam.
You are MY Veronica, honestly, no-one does it better!
Your hair looks absolutely magical in this video. The colour just suits you so well and it's so glossy! Tempted to dye my hair red again now 😅
You've definitely played a wide variety of versatile roles, Carrie.
I sobbed so much during that show, just beautiful ❤
I also saw you as Veronica and Wednesday and both were amazing 😍 Just fantastic shows xx
And now you’ll have the biggest ‘role’ of your life. Congrats! 😉☺️💕
I JUST CAME FROM YOUR INSTAGRAM CONGRATS CARRIE OH MY GOODNESS IM SCREAMING IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU
I've only seen you live in Chitty in Cardiff and you're totally right. You did an amazing job and you were so lovely at stage door afterwards (thank you for signing my copy of OTOS)! I definitely felt like it wasn't a role that was stretching you though you seemed like you were having a great time. So interesting to hear how you felt about all your different roles.
The Wednesday vlogs were some of my favourite videos ever. So much fun and friends and iconic. Loved it. The og eponine vlogs are so nostalgic too
I honestly did miss these little chatty videos!
The Caucasian chalk circle was one of the most SPECTACULAR things I have ever watched. 🎉🎉 and it was even better sitting front row
I love this so much Carrie! All the rankings make perfect sense. Can’t wait to see what roles you take on next! 🤩🤩😎
Thank you! Who knows what the future will bring!
I absolutely love your Veronica, the physical acting you did in Dead Girl Walking and the voice!!?? Smashed it!
What fun reminiscing your roles. So many memories. I loved CCC, which if im honest surprised me. The Crown Jewels is a riot😂 Your career certainly has been phenomenal 🤩 long may it continue!
Yeah I think CCC was a wild card but I loved it! Yes…long may it continue *she says crossing her fingers hard and praying the theatre gods are kind*
i really LOVED this video! i find it so interesting hearing what every job consisted of and how found it personally. you smash every role you do and i hope you’re so so proud of yourself - as we all are❤
Thanks so much! I enjoyed going through them all! ♥️
You were my favourite west end Veronica, absolutely amazing 🫶🫶
Anyone else here after the pregnancy announcement? It's so crazy to think that Carrie is pregnant in this video!!
Love that this is fun vs challenging rather than ranking which role is 'better'.
After a long almost 12 hours at work, this was lovely.
What an amazing ten years 🎶
(as an aside, remember to add the link at 16:25 🙂)
Ahh I added a “card” at 16:30 but doesn’t seem to be showing up on my phone either.
@@Carrie The link comes up for me at 15:03 ♥️
@@SophieRose31 Got it, thank you!
Aww Edgar is going to be your babies first ever pet 🥺
I got to see you as Veronica in Heather's on the West End and you were amazing!! Such a fun show, you killed I say no (and all the other songs).
I'm so sorry you had such negative comments on veronica you were incredible ❤
thank u carrie, now I have to imagine you playing Elphaba 24/7
I still remeber you in chitty and how much joy you felt - at the beginning is still one of my favourite covers you did with the child catcher haha! Sending big love and best wishes for all your future roles ❤
It just occurred to me. You would make an amazing Maria in Sound of Music. You've got the innate sweetness and yet groundedness the character needs.
So interesting to hear your perspective on how it felt to play these roles! I’ve enjoyed watching you as many of them
Also you were phenomenal as Veronica! I travelled down to London for the day just to see you in the matinee! It was TOTALLY worth it and I’m so glad I watched you!!!
So much fun! Love this video Carrie 💜
Glad you enjoyed it! ♥️
I love you Carrie, thanks for being there for me on my rainy days and especially now.
you absolutely killed Veronica. and your version of Pulled from the addams family is my favourite i’ve heard💕
I actually haven't seen any of your work but discovered you when you did the narration for Tiffy in The Flatshare audiobook! I adore it and you were perfect!!! ❤ I love that you have red hair like she does too 😄❤
Congratulations to you and Joel! 🎉 I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy 🥰
As someone who lives in Australia who doesn't get to see you in really any shows I'm just glad I got to see you at least once in a show even if Cinderella wasn't your favourite experience. At least you have the friends from that time that's a positive. Can't wait to see what's ahead in the future for you Carrie
💜💜💜
Loved this video. Thank you for sharing this Carrie it was so interesting and fun to look back on all your roles ❤
you’ve played so many!! veronica is definitely my favorite and i saw what you were saying about the comments. i don’t have a single negative thing to say about you’re performance of her!! you were amazing, and they should’ve given you that love when it was going on. stay beautiful💙💙
It was so exciting to see you in a very new genre. I really want the caucasian chalk circle official recording! The songs uploaded on youtube are brilliant and interesting.
I love this and you! You are amazing!!! I wish you all the best in your career, family and life!! ❤
Excuse me?
I don't know much about Heathers the Musical, but when I was watching your vlogs of it, it reminded me a little bit of any person playing Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, in that it's very vocally and emotionally strenuous, there's very little time off stage and everyone is going to compare you to the "original." Bravo for getting through the run!
Only just got this notification! Dropped my current video for a smidge of this NOSTALGIA ❤💚
