  • * This video has subtitles providing extra information * A countryside trek near El Puerto de Santa María with a very interesting agricultural diversity. We see the vineyards from which the Sherry wine is made, cotton plantations, chickpea fields, sunflower fields and several lagoons. We visit as well El Puerto de Santa María from where Christopher Columbus sailed on his first expedition to the Americas. Interesting hike, it's surprising what one can find off the beaten track.

Exactly, that's why my videos are about regions where few people go. ;-)

The diversity of agricultural produce in this area is interesting. I didn't know that chickpeas were grown in Spain.

Yes, there was much more diversity than we had expected, which made it an enjoyable walk.
