+Farzad B This is in Jenolan State Forest, Oberon, NSW and you can get the milk caps right up to mid-spring so up to the end of September I would say. They haven't come out as yet this year. We need some good rain in order for them to come out
Hey Bashir.. great video sir.. where is place exactly.. i live in sydney... and the mushrooms that were lying around the poo arent they psychadelic (psilocybin cubensis). would you like to meet up so that we can go for hunting together??
Those where definitely saffron milk caps. I pick them as well in Sweden. I have a huge mushroom book with well over 500 species depicted and classified. The king bolete and chanterelles get a eatable and good rating while the saffron gets a eatable and very good rating. It is the only one that gets that in the entire book.
Lars Arvidsson king boletes are only found in the Adelaide hills and European chanterelles (which taste better than Australian chanterelles) are not found in Australia. In my opinion European chanterelles taste better than saffron milk caps
Hi! I'd really like to go mushroom picking but can't find any in the woods near my house.. Do you know any good forests or places to go mushroom picking?
Brother Mohammad, gold tops contain Psilocybin which is a powerful hallucinogen (takes you out of your normal state of mind) and therefore Haram. It is also illegal to possess or consume such in NSW.
Not sure if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my brother during the lockdown :)
It’s not lethal at all. It will give you gastrointestinal upset if you eat it raw but if you dry it and make a tea or tincture out of if plenty of people including myself partake in the mushroom.
No bud fly agarics have a neurotoxin and kidney damaging capability that will kill. That is why some used to feed them to slaves and then drink their urine. Others used to drink reindeer urine after reindeer had browsed. The world is a messed up place sometimes. Dont make it worse.
Fly Agaric contains a neurotoxin. 15 caps makes a fatal dose for most humans. Fortunately, people usually get sick before they have taken a fatal dose, and can't eat that many.
The Agarics weren't they Amanita muscaria, in which case illegal, and toxic at high levels raw, but edible if treated right and funky if treated right.. I could be wrong as you did not focus on them.. but they looked like it..
Theosis Northam I haven't tried them but apparently adding a touch of vinegar helps too. Amanita muscaria aren't illegal in Australia, idk about other countries though
Liberty caps don't grow in poo, bud. Cow pastures, yes, but not directly in poo. If you're plucking liberty caps out of poo, then you're eating *dung bells* mixed in with your shroomies, lol. Be careful out there.
Fuck I hate dumbass comments like this. Of course it's poisonous you idiot. Here's a case study of what happens to a dumbass who eats too much of it: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7977045/
where is the location of hunting and up to which month of the year you can have the saffron milk type? Thanks

Thanks Lars. We only eat two wild mushrooms here in my part of Australia the saffron milk cap and the slippery jack

Cheers mate.
Vic and NSW have same editable mushrooms. So this is really helpfully :-)
Cool just remember that these mushrooms only grow around the introduced Radiata Pine
Not much rain for the last two years but I did manage to find a few in the Sutton Forest Area ( no dead bodies thou )
Hi! I'd really like to go mushroom picking but can't find any in the woods near my house.. Do you know any good forests or places to go mushroom picking?
Where do you live?
You need to find some pine plantations. In Victoria, the Saffron Milky Caps are more commonly called Pine Mushrooms.
Hey man where can you find gold tops
Brother Mohammad, gold tops contain Psilocybin which is a powerful hallucinogen (takes you out of your normal state of mind) and therefore Haram. It is also illegal to possess or consume such in NSW.
+bashir k go fuck yourself with your haram
cocowood2316 toxic
no need for that cocowood.
RAGE not toxic you fucken pleb, they are psychedelic
Sadly the lack of moisture over the last 2 years in NSW is having a serious effect on the numbers of mushrooms.
Steve Lovett brooooo not anymore
@@thelonelyboner1 Yeah they've recovered thats for sure
@xeke ‘ we have had plenty around Orange the last few weeks. Thank goodness for the rain getting some moisture in the ground.
tnx alot Bashir. we will plan a trip later on.. cheers

The fly agaric is only lethal in doses upwards of 15 caps. It is otherwise not poisonous.
Poison is poison regardless of how much you consume. Of course it's only lethal if you consume enough to die. Duh.
It’s not lethal at all. It will give you gastrointestinal upset if you eat it raw but if you dry it and make a tea or tincture out of if plenty of people including myself partake in the mushroom.
The flyageric ones are not actually poisonous but that will make you fell sick and trip out if you eat them
No bud fly agarics have a neurotoxin and kidney damaging capability that will kill. That is why some used to feed them to slaves and then drink their urine. Others used to drink reindeer urine after reindeer had browsed. The world is a messed up place sometimes. Dont make it worse.
"... will make you feel sick and trip out..."
- Yeah. Because they're poisonous.
Mmmm those are lactarious deliciosus
And the fly agaricus is hallucinogenic not actually poisonous
thanks

its both, contains ibotenic acid that is a known poision and muscimol that produces the hallucinogenic effects
thank you
You're welcome
Where I want go I like go walk for mushroom I live in Australia

Yeah I think they are Amanita muscaria. I dont ever intend on eating them!
from what i understand, boil for 20 min, discard water, boil again for 10 min discard water again.. fry as normal eat and enjoy with no ill effect :)
Theosis Northam I haven't tried them but apparently adding a touch of vinegar helps too. Amanita muscaria aren't illegal in Australia, idk about other countries though
they are legal in australia the government has decide the negative effects should be enough to keep you away
good to see you cut them for next season crop.
The small brown ones in the poo could have been magic. What a waste to not have a closer look
Hahaha. I don't go that way bro
@@bashirk that is a shame but I don't judge.
So were they as deliciously pleasant to eat as they looked?
@@damodaraomalley3974 yeah bloody good. They have a nutty flavour

you have a smart wife..lol
+Carmelo T Lol smart and sweet!. Thanks Carmelo
Some poisonous mushrooms, like the too commonly eaten death cap has no effect for some days. Then a serious liver failure with about a 50% kill rate.
cool vid dude
Fly Agaric aka Amanita Muscaria is not Poisonous
Wrong. Psychadelic and poisonous. Liver kidney and neural damage.

Ruined the 69 comments lmao sry
Touching your edible mushrooms after touching the poisonous Agarics, lol nice..

Luther Corr what do you know about mushrooms? If you knew anything you'd know that touching agarics will not do you any harm
