Focking love it!❤ 😎 🎸 🎶
Amen, Brother Beau.
Mike Ness. Iconic musician. Outstanding character.
love love love Ness's interpretation of this Dylan cover. The combination of the stand up bass, Chris Lawrence's country picking, and Ness's distorted guitar tone makes all the difference in making this version so completely different from Dylan's. Ness basically turned Dylan's folk ballad into some country/ punk hybrid of a song. Dylan's version is obviously acoustic, but even if he had drums or guitars in the mix it still would have sound very different from the mike Ness version of the song.
Agreed
Like 50 people have done this song. Elvis, Kesha, Randy Travis , all man bros, indigo girls, Waylon Jennings. The list goes on. In MY personal opinion I agree with the comment that said nobody sings the song with the pain in his voice like Mike mess. This song lives on in this version in my head only!!! Mike ness and social D and all the other musicians in his bands are amazing as well
The #1
Chris Lawrence on guitar
That’s some epic Telecaster work.
Any chance you could point me in the right direction to see more of his work? I’m truly blown away by what I just saw here and would like to learn and hear more about his career.
@CFarnwide just start googling and looking him up on UA-cam.

I saw them on this tour at Irving Plaza in NYC. Chris Lawrence came out from back stage after the show ended and mingled with all of us in the crowd who were still hanging around on the venue floor after the show. He must have spent 20 minutes or so talking with everyone before the venue started making everyone leave. Such a cool dude. So nice and down to earth.
Just noticed the 81 Support sticker on Mike Ness’s pick guard, wonder why it’s no longer on there
Marshall music 🎶 🎙️ 🎚️ 🎛️
I’ve never heard of this guy before but reminds me of reverend randy Horton
Social Distortion ……..
😂😂
You knew of Horton Heat but not Mike Ness? Dude.
His voice member me to joe strummer a bit😮
This reeks of the 90's.
The 90's sucked
Obviuosly you weren't alive in the 90's.
Compared to what? Your old lady?
Yeah this is the worst cover I think I've ever heard. I've always thought Bob Dylan made music that is always better in covers. Never thought I'd hear a cover where I'd genuinely rather listen to Bob Dylan's monotone ass. This is the worst performance I've ever seen dude. I'd rather listen to Radiohead perform Creep 4 times in a row at MTV's beach house than this
