We had a ton of fun playing Pantheon! Just a disclaimer! All of this is due to change and none of it is final, at least as far as we know! :D
Thank you for watching! We really appreciate it. If there is anything we can change or improve on, as always - please let us know!

Really loving the classic feel of Pantheon - feeling like youre exploring a dangerous world with friends. And just looking into the distance of the world and knowing I can go EVERYWHERE. to the top of the mountains and every hidden cave and dungeon.

More people should try it before judging it, Pantheon is a really good example in the saying, its way more fun to play then watch - Thanks for a good video.

We agree 100% ! Its impossible to capture the feeling you get when playing. We can only say, people should give it a try for sure 😀🙌

    How does combat "feel" though?

It feels good honestly, but it does need a bit more polish. There are missing animations for some skills though, warriors rush type skill for example right now just teleports you to the target, so its not finished, yet.

I agree it needs polish but there is some complexity to when to use which moves. It is engaging.

Its on the right track! For the type of game Pantheon is, its all we could want.

Seems there's still nothing to show for any of the support this project initially received. And without Brad, there's little behind Joppa's 'vision' that might galvanize the community behind an MMO like this. It is magical thinking to take this off the 'probably vaporware' list. Joppa doesn't really seem to have any connection to the actual development either if his embarassing live streams have anything to say about it. And the game itself is suffering the 1080p effect. You know how all the videos look 480p even though it says 1080p HD you got big square pixels look like smart watch resolution blacks? But you know for a fact it didn't used to look that terrible? Same thing going on here. So many red flags it feels like Kung Fu Opera.

I understand why you feel this way, honestly it is a chaotic history of Pantheons development(to say the least) however when we tried it, we put all of it aside, and just focused on playing and we had a lot of fun, that's all we can say and I think that's worth something, it does need a lot more work for it to actually ship, but hey, at least now I feel like they're on the right track. We shall see what the future holds!

You learnt that you wasted your money and it's crap?

Yeah fr, this game stated development when I was in my late twenties and I’ll likely be past forty by the time it launches - IF it launches. The final nail in the coffin for me was when they decided to change their art style. The game’s concept is cool and caters to the nostalgia of old school mmo players but I think the development team just isn’t big enough to handle a project of this scope.
Hell, even if it had been ready the day it was thought of, it still would’ve been seen as mediocre even with the standards of the time.

The animations are horrible. You get hit, no flinch, swings look like a 2 year old swatting at a butterfly for the first time. 2004-ish graphics make this game very dull. They took too long and made too many bad decisions. The window has been missed. Go back to 2001 DAOC. Even they had an evade animation. Their combat animations are fairly close to Pantheon’s animations except this is 2024…

Thank you for sharing! We honestly enjoyed Pantheon a lot, and we'd be playing it right now if we could. Graphics and the game needs polish but it feels great to play regardless, after trying it, we are believers! 😀
