As a man who’s long been well aware of toxic masculinity, but only recently accepted that toxic femininity is not only a thing, but is just as prevalent as toxic masculinity…..I say thank you. I was not sure this video would help me, but I’m glad I stuck with it because it has helped me tremendously. I believe men and women need to get rid of tribalism and not always back up their group simply because they are the same gender as them, or the same political view as them. It's not our job. Men have safe areas everywhere when do women have safe areas and when do we feel safe.. I live in Miami it is very dangerous for me to even walk out of my house.. are you emancipating the men around you but are you really.... This sounds so conniving to keep being a pik me and build up your men then they leave you for the women who didn't do any of that work on him and just comes already on the same level
Your "channel" was wrong. Feminism, especially classic feminism, was NOT about hating men. We didnt have a vote or a right to a bank account. We were prisoners in abusive relationships..
Yeah it seems like since she didn't grow up in that generation she can't relate to or understand that women didn't have the right to our own bank accounts only 60 years ago she seems to be more of a pygmy type and wanting to do it on them to get a little bit of attention back it's eventually the picnic type that they don't like but sometimes end up with because they love that golden retriever energy..
Not true. She's not talking about classical feminism of equal rights and fair treatment in the early 20th century but about the distorted victim narrative of the 1960s feminism that painted all men as their oppressors. How is men providing for women to be housewives oppressive? How is men fighting wars, building all the things of society (buildings, homes, roads, transportation, water system, etc.), and putting women's lives along with children first (chivalry) oppressive? This movement made all the natural differences between men and women about victimhood and oppression and was an attempt to turn women into men and men into women. Do you like your masculine career that prevents you from embracing feminity and motherhood and being with weak men who no longer seek to protect and provide for women? I'm definitely not for that life.
