HIV paediatric teaching case 2 - Baby Chisomo

Baby Chisomo is a newborn who has been brought to hospital after being found abandoned by a river. Because the status of the mother is unknown, she is treated as if she has been exposed to HIV.
These interactive training films are designed to copy the way clinicians learn in real life. They follow children over time, recording clinic visits or admissions to hospital, stopping to ask questions whenever treatment decisions need to be made.
