We have found some weaknesses. We can't cure someone who has HIV, but PrEP can effectively work as a vaccine. If taken regularly, it can be 99% effective in preventing transmission. Combine it with a condom, and transmission can drop to near zero. We must make this drug more widely available!
this is not real as mathematics game of life that virus by this mecanisme not multiply as the first one die and next one get born so we have the same number 1 this not real
I have had the same question for some time. Viruses are so complicated and extraordinary that they make me believe in God. Same for cancers, they know how to do so many things, it is just awesome. The more I learn about them, the more I admire them. I would never have imagined.
Is there a way to destroy gps120 when they stick to the outer layer of Td4 cells and after that matrix core can't go out with out them ? Can a specialist answer my question plz ?
Michalis Michaelides curing this virus is impossible. Once integrated in the host genome there is no targeted excision of the viral DNA. There are several treatments available but curing someone entirely once infected is nearly impossible. There are currently some speculated ways to attempt to inactivate the virus prior to host integration but this is not a cure and more-so a preventative measure. The other thing that makes it incredibly difficult is a lot of treatments focus on using the body’s immune system, however this virus targets that very immune system.
When you realize that one virus is not something alive, its a particule, it’s ridiculously obvious that is human make and that is make for kill. Somebody can tell me since when something inert do cycle of something? Since when something not alive can don mutation but stay the same sometime and sometime not? Since when a particule can reproduce itself? Since when a particules from no where, alone in the nature can create a mecanism inside itself, a mecanism so complexe that we cannot figure it out , and to be a particule? It is possible that randomly molecules and atomes do something like that alone. And it not only that. It a particule but that want to be alive. That reproduce itself for want ? That not alive why that want to reproduce itself ? Only one thing can answer all those question. How somebody can do it to somebody? How much this person can hate us? Do you believe that love can fix it? Can we love enough for fix it. Do we want to fix it? Its so obviously human make that we just decided to do like we don’t know because to know implicate to ask to ourself we somebody hate us as it. What we did that hurt somebody enough for pushing him to do something disgusting like it ?
This is so complex biomechanic that “It’s by nature” just pass away… From whoever created it-God or beings created by God-it’s incredible! I’m speaking generally. We still can’t even predict the weather…
Plz clear me about that there are two Viral RNAs which are identical to each other but only one is being used by reverse transcriptase to made it into DNA then what is use of second viral RNA ??? And why there are two RNAs in HIV???
The reverse transcriptase enzyme converts the single strand viral RNA into a short-lived RNA-DNA duplex. The original RNA is degraded by RNase 11 to allow creation of a full length double stranded DNA copy of virus which will fit into the human DNA.
@@princess_mike does it mean a pair of viral ds DNA enter the host cell, (or) only one RNA is being used to develope a DNA and another strand is degraded😅😅
I don’t understand how y’all figured this out....
This is such an amazing animation and lesson. Thank you.
This Virus is so smart... I'm not losing hope that one day we will be able to find its weakness.
We need. 😪😔 i hope too
Not catching it works really well

Thank you, this really helped me to visualise HIV life cycle
Unbelievable 😭😭😭😭
The most amazing video 😡😡🤩❤️❤️❤️
This is equally, seemingly well designed. Curiously, those who believe in intelligent design never focus on such devious design.

@Rumpel Felt "it's just nature" is just an opinion. Heck, maybe it's 'just' alien, sent to cause smart humans to figure more how this all works.
great vid, good explaination of this viral production.
Hoping for a cure
Thank you so much your explanation was perfect
That's awesome!
thank you!
It’s an amazing video that’s help alot me in my virology presentation👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Love this animation
Wow. You made this so easy to understand. Thank you!
Thank you! We are glad that our animation help people understand complex medical concepts.
Great video! Helping me with my virology revision, thanks!
awesome video! nice explanation
Very good presentation keep it up brother
Excellent video😍
Plz upload hepatitis B virus animation....plz
Hbv is a child virus not usually gotten from sex
Please a cure for hive now
Great explanation, Thank you
Hi that's exallent to understand HIV life cycle 👍👍👍
And they say god dosn't exist, all this complexity is by itself!
Wow,iv learnt a lot
Thankyou very much
Good explanation. However I couldn't find and get HIV has two RNAs. In the last step, from where the HIV gets these two RNAs?
3:20 Oh No! the Enterprise is under attack!!!...quick Lieutenant how many photon torpedoes do we have???
I wish the presenter had gone into how long this lifecycle takes. Anybody know?
Why purity is necessary for future generations.
well explained
Very helpful 👍
thx for this animation but u don't explain very well how immature virus became a mature virus
SIR NEXT TIME PLEASE INSERT SUBTITLE ....BUT ALLOVER VIDEO IS VERY INFORMATIVE....
If you turn on the ''CC'' -subtitles... there will b no need... 🙃
Waoooo jxt amazingggg ❤️
Nice video 👍
could the viral protease in the cytoplasm ever eventually dissolve or denature over the course of the life of the cell?
It is real and powerful
Wow amazing lec i completely understand thank you so much
Awesome video.. thanks
I have a device to stay away from that....
It can't have a life cycle if it isn't living!

If they know so much about the virus why they can not cure it..? It seems that we don't know much yet.
It's not that easy sir
It's a very complex virus

Michalis Michaelides we dont know shit every time a virus comes out humans always are waaay too slow or cant find any cure for it
Because the HIV DNA stays dormant in the host's genome until the host cell is activated. Which could be years.
I hate these smartest virus😠😠😠😠😠
great

One of my junior asked me does the entry of viral DNA increases length of Host Chromosome size . Now I am confused .?
Yes it increases by the length size of the viral DNA!
fantabulous
We need cure in Kenya please
It's super vedio
