I am so used to making granny square is the size of my hand and to see your granny squares on the mat and your hand, they look so tiny like a fairy making crocheting, it's adorable! ❤❤❤❤❤
I love that AI tip! Will keep it in mind. I love using AI when writing my pattern, I put my pattern into chatgpt, and it checks my stitch count on each row for me, so I don't miss noting any of the needed increases or decreases. it's a simple way to make sure the count is correct. I'm sure there are more uses for AI, it's a handy tool if we can figure out how to use it to our advantage.
Really enjoyed your projects and style; so glad to have found your channel. What pattern did you use for the granny square sweater you are wearing in this video, please? Heading to Crochet Vlog #02!!
Hi Laura, I have just found your chanel :) Even though I am heading into summer down at the bottom of the planet I look forward to seeing what you come up with for your crochet winter items :) I love the gorgeous ganny square jersey you have on, your cololur choices are awesome! x
Absolutely! The base is Loops & Threads Classic Acrylic in the colour 'Off White' and the colours are all from the Caron Baby Cake in the colour 'Retro'. To construct it I made 14 granny squares with 4 rounds of triple crochets so they measure 10 inches in diameter for the body. For the sleeves I made 8 squares with 5 rounds of triple crochet (4 granny squares per sleeve). For the construction I used a mrsmoonheaven's video 'Getting over my fear of granny squares' at 7:47 she shows a template and I followed that to line up my squares!
