Thank you so much for sharing this. I've said similar things to my husband, how unfair it is for him to have a wife with so many limitations. He has never wavered in his unconditional love, and I'm forever grateful. Hearing you share your grief for your husband really resonated with me. I'm so glad to have found your channel! ❤
you are so right! one struggle i've faced as someone with invisible disabilities is getting denied accommodations. i'm sure this is a common reality for you too. disability is not as pretty as it seems and it takes up so much energy on a day to day basis just existing as a disabled person. btw i am finally going to the orthopedist for my shoulder subluxations. hopefully they can look at my other hypermobile joints as well. also i just hope they don't gaslight me... your channel is awesome and i'm proud of how far you have come!
"The truth of God's love is not that He allows bad things to happen, but that He'll be there with us when they do." - Love Comes Softly I couldn't help but think of that when I watched this. I definitely have days when I feel this way. EDS has had just as much of an emotional toll on myself as it's had a physical one. Thank you so much for the encouragement and the reminder that God will never stop having faith in me, even if I forget to have faith in Him.
im so happy for you, for your journey and growth and that you have such amazing people in your life to support you through it all 🧡 God is so good, and i know this video is going to help so many people who are struggling with this. i used to do so much around the house for my family before i became chronically ill, and it’s been a struggle to learn how to pace myself or ask other people to do things for me or learn that i’m still a valuable member of the family even if i cant do much to help around the house. thank you for the encouragement and insight! i’ll be praying for you 🧡
Have you thought about flipping your thoughts around? Maybe it's not what you can do and physically give to those who love you but your existence gives purpose to Them. By loving You and helping You and caring for You, that You Are Giving Them What They Need in their lives. It's also OK for you to just Be! You shouldn't feel guilty about not doing anything or taking time out to recouperate and rest if that's what your body needs. You seem to have a strong faith, there's a saying that my family goes by "Let Go, and Let God" -- Letting Go is a good thing. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much! Yes, It can be hard to learn the balance of pacing yourself and also of asking others to help. Thanks for your encouragement :)
