I think superheat ores while minnig is faster way. Example: pickaxe, nature runes, hammer, steel nails, mine 18 iron ore, mine 2 coal( superheat to steel), mine coal 2. Repeat until you have full inventory of Steel bars, at anvil make steel nails(they stockable like runes or coins)

I have an f2p account and I have just started playing on it, had 307k gp and steel armour, I didn't even think I would have a good scimitar just yet, but then a came upon a few ppl who just traded and stuff and one came to me and wanted to trade, i accepted and he threw in 5k gp and A FRICKIN RUNE SCIMITAR AND HE SAID IT WAS FOR FREE AS A GIFT
I'm not 100% sure this is how max hits work, but if I was a programmer for the game, this is what I would do. You would roll a number from [1 , (str lvl + str bonus)], and for every (let's say) interval of 10, you get an extra attack damage. So if you roll a 1-9 you hit a 1, 10-19 you hit a 2, and so on. In which case, your logic of "I just need to use the minimum strength bonus to hit an extra damage on my max hit." doesn't work. More strength will still increase your expected hit value.
Why. Why, why, why... And, yknow, for someone who has 99+ range and 89 smithing in F2P, you left the game strangely incomplete. Haven't done all the quests, very low defence (even though you say later in the video that you want to train it up), very low melee stats, fishing, and cooking, and less than 40 prayer... Wtf.

I always did chickens till roughly 40 prayer. Of course, you can't pick up the bones from several other players drops. That way you'd get tons of bones, feathers, and some combat gains at a low level. And, perfectly safe :p
Is there a ftp ironman mode that you cannot become a member on? If not people can just become a member for a month to stock up on all of this junk. 10% better melee training doesn't exactly around worth 1300 hours. Needless to say, I don't get it.
