Caleb, even if you are just after suggestions of places to go/things to do, don't hesitate to contact me. I was also in Sydney recently and can offer you some ideas :)

Off topic to my main point but in life I feel everything in moderation is better than just cold turkey quitting. So to get to my main point, I'm guessing you have heard about the upcoming (™) death mechanics changes. As an uim they're punishing to your game style as a uim, but I know you love the genuine 2007 feel - how do you thus feel about the changes as there is the conflict of your account having the safe deaths to store items vs your wanting the old school mechanics? I feel like a video about that would be a great listen or even just a reply!
I definitely support a change to the death mechanics. Reverting them to how they originally were would be acceptable, though I think that a gravestone system with a maximum of maybe 15 minutes would be ideal. Max f2p gravestone maybe 5 mins. Most important thing to me is that they make items lost on death appear to all players eventually, because that's a big part of oldschool feel. Runite runs would be a bit more risky but I would just have to bring food and armor.
