Since this would be going in my glove box, I'd be primarily using the nimh or aa non rechargeable lithium battery that can deal with the temperature extremes. As long as it's bright enough to change a tire or illuminate an engine bay or trunk etc, it should work for my intended purpose.

I think the primary way to turn the torch on is clicking twice rather than the long press, unless you want the ultra-low mode, just like the E70 Mini etc. Thanks for the video. I do own one of the H16s BTW.

Yes that does work too, seems to be an acebeam thing I often don't use since it's kind of unique

Very thorough review! The tint looks nice on that version of the H16.

I like the battery and user interface. I just wish there was an option that was regulated for better lumen/runtime.

    Great Review

Hello Friend. I ordered mine with a temperature of 5000 K, but now I think maybe I should have ordered 6000 K? Tell me, 6000 is it very cold?

I love how deeply you dived into the technical specs. What do you recommend as a similar light that is optimised to run with single use aa batteries?

Off thr top of my head I don't have one. I strongly prefer liion. I would probably tell you to check out zebralight

@@LiquidRetro I also like lithium ion batteries but in Australia the temperature inside a vehicle can reach in excess of 65⁰C and that's too dangerous for lithium.

@@timgruchot2162Also looking to keep this in my car and temps drop to the single digits (F) on rare occasion and lately been 20F or below. This morning it was -10C in your units lol
I was thinking of using eneloops with non rechargeable type lithium aa batteries as backup, which handle even colder temperatures than the nimh. I don't know if either of them would survive your heat, however

@LiquidRetro, Nice review! How do you think this compares to the Olight Perun 2 mini? This seems like it has better runtimes but maybe a lower user interface

      I haven't used the Perun 2 mini so I can't really comment.

Quick question: Can you run the torch on ordinary (full sized) 14500 battery? The usb charging batteries seem to be shorter than usual.

Ya not a problem, the springs make up the difference

Hello Friend. I am writing from Russia via google translator. Tell me, please, at 230 lumens does his light flow stabilize, the brightness does not drop as the battery is discharged? And does he have an indication of how much he has left to work?

Check my runtime graph sections and that should answer the question. It does step down. I don't believe there is a battery voltage readout via flashes or colored led.

@@LiquidRetroYou can write to me, because I do not understand these graphics and you speak in a video in a different language for me. That is, the brightness will decrease?
