It can also mean being unperturbed by a situation that should be surprising usually due to growing pseudo-accustom to it. And that is exactly what I meant when I used that word, the situation perfectly encapsulates both uses of it. What exactly did think the word meant? How is "unfazed" the opposite of it? How does "unfazed" or "nonplus" even have an opposite isn't it sort of like zero wouldn't it's opposite still be zero? If you are going to be "pedantic" you could at least be right.
