Hi Stacy! :) I’m just slowly catching up on a couple weeks of videos, but I wanted to comment here hoping you see this…
I remember a long time ago you telling us about “natural flavors” and the really gross beaver derived castoreum “flavor” that can be included in that. I just recently learned that if a product is certified kosher, it is not allowed to have that ingredient listed under natural flavors. Of course… I do still try to avoid “natural flavors” in ingredients. But once in a while if I end up getting something with them, I’m going to check if it’s at least certified kosher so at least it doesn’t have that in it!
I thought of you guys when I learned that! You have taught me so many tidbits over the years on things like that, fermented foods, etc., I really appreciate it! :)
We don’t watch TV in our home but I enjoy watching these vlogs so much. I’m so happy you have started them again! I’m loving the homeschooling ideas too. Can’t wait to see more! :)

I’m so happy that our videos have been such a blessing to you! I’m glad you brought the natural flavors up. I want to share about that again. Anything kosher has to come from biblically clean animals and beavers are not. Good for you for researching that! We always check to be sure natural flavors are vegan. But I really like to stay away from them altogether if I’m able. Thank you for sticking with us! You’re so encouraging!

You’re welcome. Katherine does an online program at home. Olivia decided that she wanted to go to school. I plan to do a video soon with more details.
