What an unbelievable past week this has been in cfb. Miami failing to take a knee, West virginia vs Houston's back and forth hail marys, Stanford's 29 point comeback vs. Colorado, and now this, all in 7 days. Just insane.
Don't forget Ducks - Huskies. That game was pure cardiac. Ducks up by 4, go for it on 4th down and fail giving UW the ball at midfield, Penix gives the Huskies the lead two plays later, Ducks march down to the red zone and miss a FG as time expires. UW 36 UO 33.

This is great to see. I became an instant fan of the Rams when they played CU. They got no respect the week of that game and they came out and outplayed CU and should've won. This team has guts and never quits. Love it!
Mountain west gets no respect. Boise and SDSU have earned some names for themselves (and suck this year) and Fresno has kinda earned a name, but teams like Wyoming and Air force at the top of the conference are top 25 teams and deserve to be up there. Wyoming played Texas better than bama and their only other loss is an undefeated very good air force team, and Fresno's only loss is Wyoming.

Being out east, I did fall asleep and figured I wouldn't miss much considering how it was going. Did the same thing Friday night. Woke up both Saturday and Sunday morning to see I missed great comebacks. Any weekend where the Buffs choke and the Rams win is a good weekend!
I grew up on the west coast and was stationed in Washington DC for my second assignment in the Air Force. I absolutely hated staying up until 2:00 AM to watch late west coast games. This was in the early 80s though so there weren’t too many. Have lived in mountain time zone for 35 years, it’s the best.
@Tkuhn1 I have been out east for the last 8 years. One thing I truly miss is the live sports schedule for the mountain time zone. It's perfect! Early stuff doesn't start too early, late stuff ends early enough.

As someone who doesnt watch or follow any sports, this was in my feed i decided to watch, and wow that is unbelievable good job to those boys hell of a game
I highly recommend watching the second half. Score was 17-0, BSU receiving kickoff. Late blindside block by BSU player who proceeded to stand over the CSU player who was down for the count. Medical team came out. Game was stopped for a long time on the field. They were cutting off his jersey. Finally get him onto a golf cart, and a camera got the player doing a small thumbs up. On the ensuing drive, CSU's center threw a BSU player after a fairly routine tackle, clearing the benches. It took five minutes to figure out who all got fouls, and it included the CSU head coach. Later, a BSU defensive player got his second for seemingly cursing out a ref. Most heated game I've seen in a while.

The mental aspect of football is a bit underrated. Something like a 21-0 lead going into half-time is almost the same as a 2-0 lead in hockey. "The most dangerous lead". You take your foot off the gas, and the other team doesn't, and it's highly noticeable. Same thing happened to Colorado this weekend.

I'm in Canada, I never watch US college football. My best friend's in Australia and she'd been showing me rugby league and Aussie footy, so last night I wanted to show her a North American football game so she could see the differences. This was the only thing on so we watched it, we tuned in around 6 minutes thinking we were just watching a blowout that I could explain some rules. Instead we watched the entire comeback and it was amazing. Her first time watching gridiron football and it's this ridiculous ending. xD
That penalty on the extra point try brought back memories. Back when the late Sark Arslanian was the CSU head coach, they trailed Be White U 33-27 with one play left. They got the touchdown to tie it at 33, got a celebration penalty, and then missed the 35-yard extra point. The game ended in a tie (no overtime back then.) Also had a flashback to a more recent game -- The Piss And Miss. Elijah Moore is never living that one down.
The BYU game goes back a while… I ran into CSU QB Mark Driscoll and asked him about that game’s crazy ending.. apparently, CSU scored a TD…kicked off, and BYU fumbled, giving CSU one last chance to score the tying touchdown with six seconds left.

The BYU game goes back a while… I ran into CSU QB Mark Driscoll and asked him about that game’s crazy ending.. apparently, CSU scored a TD…kicked off, and BYU fumbled, giving CSU one last chance to score the tying touchdown with six seconds left.
