In my youth I was a matchbook cover player. Pics were not a very available commodity. Take a match book cover fold it to a triangle shape and good to go. Nowadays I use those red and orange Dunlops, but not the pointy end, one of the rounded edges. Unorthodox, I know, but the control of being always so close to the strings works for me.

Apparently, a lot of people use the rounded corners and not the pointy end

I only use small jazz picks. Since I was a teenager. No desire to change because I have more control and my hands are small. I've always used Fenders but I'll consider giving these Dunlops a try.

Totally. Yes, a larger pic for strumming and rhythm… That’s true. Gives you more power and leverage. But otherwise… My go-to pick is the Jazz III Ultex. There are some other companies out there that are now making really good small picks… About that size, that have even better tapered edges…Attak Piks is one…

About 10 years ago I switched from the Dava Control pick to the Dunlop Jazz III Tortex .73 MM and recently discovered the Tortex Jazz III FLEX .73MM. Both are great picks and now I can't use any other pic.
