Your Video was great to watch! I could hear the cold steel rattling ;) The following is just the way i understand the rules. I got no answer to my mail I've send to AA so i have to guess. I hope you are successful with asking on social media! I would also love to know if the "use me: Prohibition gangsters"-rules will ever get a second version or errata cause they feel beta-ish... Can't see a reason to buy melee weapons as they give no benefit. Two types of pistols are listed but no difference is explained. The lupara sawn of shotgun has lower range and costs more than the "better" old pistol and has no radius in contrast to the normal shotgun that has a radius... Would have guessed the lupara has a damage-boost or even wider radius... But i am getting of-track and to be honest, the rules are easy enough to houserule most of the issues i have. Back to the game! A FAQ or errata for "En Garde" would be great. You are right that it can be a chasing game if you randomize the "action dice" so i used the combat skill "Fleet foot" on my character to be more mobile. Only downside to this is that you will roll to hit with a d8 a lot cause you try to use sidesteps to keep the enemy close to you and maybe even block his movement. This also means that a weapon-combo with a Dagger (or simply a halbert) are your best options to make sure that you are always able to attack... Maybe a "agressive-passive-defensive"-ai like the one in the "use me"-rules is better for that part? 🤷🏻♂️ 14:40 Page 18 - Attack Selection: this one is not clearly written cause it is explained again on the same page under "defending" WITHOUT the important part. It gets confusing but i understand it as follows: No matter if by correct guess or low roll, if you miss to hit, the dice is lost! In your case the dice (d8) was lost and does not go back into the pool. Same with the d6 the next turn. 18:45 Page 18 - scoring a miss: in your case the dice is lost. Nonetheless, as you landed a hit, you test to wound... At least thats what I would do. It is already an attack with a high chance to loose the dice. Again, thank you very much for this Video! A Pistol duel would be interesting. As i am still confused about the sword duel i did not spend time on "how to solo" them... And the sword-duell seems more fun... Solo AND versus. Your videos help me clarify some stuff cause i want to play this with someone else who is bad at english so i need to translate it into german. Feels good if someone "proofs" your thoughts ;) Have a nice day!
A few pieces of terrain taking up three or four spaces would not be bad like small pond. Some plants if it's a patio in the back of somebody's house there's going to be stuff there...

In my head I keep hearing the Star Trek fighting music
This seems like an awesome system. I like the importance of movement.

It completely changes the tactics and nature of the game. I have a bridge fight scheduled later this month.
