Honestly I’m at the same opinion right now. They look WAY better in hand, especially the silver highlights on Godzilla’s spikes. While the figure isnt entirely movie accurate, the poseability and the removal of the toothpaste mouth from the 2021 release makes it a lot more tempting
What's the point of making a new figure for the same design it's a waste of money and time pretty sure they updated the articulation to since some of these poses I can't do with my 2019 don't worry they'll eventually make evolved godzilla but this figure basically had to be made since some collectors missed out on a base s h legendary

@@Burning_Gojira_1995 The SMHA MV Goji molds have always felt lacking imo, the 2019 remold has always looked scrawny at the head. I'd really like if he got a total redo for more accurate versions of the 2014 and '19 versions.

While I'm sticking with my Hiya godzilla figure, I will get the Kong figure. Mainly because I bought the new Kong replacement heads and neck extension from Kujira. So Kong 2024 will look 10 times better looking with a good old repaint and those replacement heads....
If you go through AMC prices seem to be set at $100. Big Bad Toy Store & Nakama Toys both are $75 plus shipping and sales tax. Other retailers like Kappa Hobby and Eknightmedia offer preorder discounts but won't get their inventory until later.

With that being said Hiya gives more accurate sculpts with fair articulation, and they’re much cheaper. The Hiya shimo is much bigger than these figures but it’s only 60$

Life changes happened and stop motion takes such a long time, so the channel has been mostly dead since 2014. That said, with such a positive engagement to the recent unboxing videos, plans are in motion to create more content here.
Positive points:Needs a remastered,special color version and the sabe heat ray and base from heisei era. Negative points:Is the same and is this a recolor.
Something annoying about Kong is that he just has a normal left fang, when his left fang is only ever shown being infected or metal in the film. His axe shouldn’t be powered up either, as it was only powered up after he went to Rio de Janeiro while wearing the BEAST Glove (and it would have been cool to get the depowered axe). As for Godzilla, the red in the mouth seems too bright, and his body looks too monochromatic to really resemble how DogheGoji appeared in the film - should be more dusty browns in there. These moulds are good figures, but I think there are just better versions of them to get.
Video is great thanks for showing us what these figures look like in video instead of promo shots. Just saw the movie twice and loved it. I had to have these 2 figures and placed an order with BBTS. Hoping shma does Scar King and Shimo.

That's marketing buzzwords. It's all the same production run, a portion of it though has been expedited for some retailers to have it in time for the movie's release. The rest of the inventory will arrive next month
