Always the case in the last 100km isn’t it Grace. I’m guessing lots of people can’t spare the time to do more than that. Primitivo videos are coming up next with some fabulous views 😊😊x
Hi Nick, I completed the CP a few weeks ago and had to swap out my Topo shoes at the 400km mark in Tui also. They were great until they weren’t. With training I probably had 550km km on them so a bit disappointing. Great hiking shop in Main Street but nothing with a wide toe box so I completed the last few hundred kms in Tevas walking sandals and toe socks (they did the job) 😊
Hey 👋. The Altra website suggest about 800km for lone peaks (I normally use those) and they last just about that, so I thought the Timp 4 would be similar but they just dissolved. I actually managed to finish the whole Portuguese and then Primitivo with them but they were pretty much held together with band aids, KT Tape, Kinseology amd duct tape, pretty much whatever I could buy or be gifted. I fly home in 2 days so think I’ll do one more video showing what they looked like in the end before I throw them away. 😂
@@NickLivingLife well done making them last until the end. Look forward to seeing final shot of them 😀 Mine were actually affecting my body but once I changed them out I had no more issues. Would still buy them again. I tried the Altras but the Topo had a better arch support for me. Cheers Wendy
The first Camino I had no idea about it other than walking. Then I realised the peace, the people, the simplicity, the beauty and the kindness that is all around the Camino made me truly feel at home. x
Ponte de Lima is 🤩😍🥰😎
All the scenery is beautiful, so lush and green!
I love this about Caminos. I end up in towns that I never would have visited in my life, and discover just how beautiful they are. 😊😊❤️
Another lovely video Nick, showing the true Camino spirit & family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was a lovely few days Anne 😊 xx
Love getting to see all of this scenery again! It’s like reliving it!!
Hey Greta 👋😊. That’s the reason I do it. Helps me remember too. 😊😊❤️
Hi Nick, it's Grace. What a lovely view of Portugal and Spain. I noticed there are more pilgrims from Tui onward. Buen Camino!😊🌞🪷

Sorry to hear about your shoes. Hope you’re able to get a replacement. On the brighter side, lovely video. Keep up the good work. Sincerely Lorenz
That’s so very kind of you Lorenz. Thanks so much. 😊😊
Beautiful, stunning scenery! Another fan from Melbourne here :-)

I saw you guest starring in another person's recent Camino video last night!!
Really? I didn’t know
I found it 😊😊. I better make sure I edit him into mine too ( I hope I was recording at the time).
😂😂
May I ask what motivated you on your first camino, and why continue on the others?
The first Camino I had no idea about it other than walking. Then I realised the peace, the people, the simplicity, the beauty and the kindness that is all around the Camino made me truly feel at home. x
Thank you, Nick. 😍
Did you manage to get another pair of shoes, or are they going to make it to Santiago?
They made it. I’m here in Santiago right now. They are barely shoes anymore but I got here with band aids and duct tape holding them together. 😊😊
Congratulations, Nick!🎉🎊🥳 You made it! Now you can relax until your next adventure, with a new pair of shoes!😊
As I mentioned before, I will be making my first Camino in September. It will be quite an adventure for me😊
@@galtmann8482 it certainly will be Grace. 😊😊. I’m hoping it’s truly magical for you. 😊
Thanks, Nick🌞🪷😍
