    The loader with that attachment is in my opinion revolutionary. But even the finest paint won't make an artist. For that it takes skill, caring and a desire to be good at what you do. You sir, are an artist. Thanks for sharing your passion.

      I think I saw that someone makes replacement wipers. Can't quite remember who, but you could prob find em thru a Google search.

      Spray them with wd.40 and clean . They wont do that . The rubber is dry . Fyi

      Yea "our" road is supposed to be cleared but instead they act like its not there and just push snow over it. Although it doesn't bother me because i get to play a lil bit with the tractor, but there is mornings you wish they cleared it.

    Wow, I can honestly say, this is the first time I grunted in disappointment because it ended too soon. The clarity and position of the camera was perfect. I really got into every movement the blades made. I almost felt like I was there! Great job and video!! I just wish it was longer. Thanks!!!

    Love your videos I used to love hauling and dumping snow with a CAT 930g loader and 966F in my beginning days. Now I spin wrenches on CAT equipment at a dealer. Pretty cool. And like another comment said it is relaxing to watch after working long days. Love winter can’t wait for some snow!

      @@orangecitrus_6705 ya I’ve been operating excavator since age 5, and EVERYONE thinks it’s the easiest thing in the world and all that’s to it is pushin and pullin levers, but it’s way harder than it looks, and plowing snow is the same way.

    As a former heavy equipment operator/Landscaper that used Skid Steers and front loaders with 17' blades and box plows, this was enjoyable to watch! Operator had skill, knowledge and very precise! Well done operator!

      I never ran a loader with a snow blade, so do you put it in float? I would imagine it's tough on the blade unless it has shoes.

    Job requriement: excellent hand feeling of mechanical equipment, withstand long hours of night shift, able to maintain high alert level for an extended period, able to work alone and excellent night vision. What is the hourly rate?

    I will said that watching these snow removal videos in the middle of a summer heat wave is very relaxing and makes things somewhat bearable. I am continually amazed at how well those MetalPless Live Edge plows scrape right to the pavement.

      Todd Anderson. That’s because it is easy! Big powerful machine doing the heavy lifting, operator sat in a heated cab pulling a few leavers. That’s wasn’t ever going to look like hard work.

    City of Schaumburg IL our Front End Loader Drivers are contracted from Plote Excavating Co. Maybe you could tips on Snow Plowing they plow like crap..!

    I have a main thing to say. "Proper equipment for the job." I don't recall ever seeing state highway/government using equipment of that caliber to remove snow. Yeah big cost up front but it does the work of 2 in less time and time is money.

    A short hop from where the in-laws live down 101!
    We have run out of room for any more snow here in Down East Maine!
    If it wasnt the end of the season we would need to hire a Dirt Ninja and the Metal Pless to make some room for us ! 👍

    This is why people drive in the center lanes when it snows.. Snow plow operators are blind and don't do the lanes properly

    We use that same set up for roads and we use a cat 908 as well they work great

    Never understood architects that decide the esthetics of having trees planted so close to the road edge for northern climates. Ya gotta have room to put that frozen white stuff. Must be that Southern mentality.

    Doesn't look like the snow is rolling off the blade very well. We always were taught to make blades that curled the snow while plowing here in Canada. Like 1950 type curl to help snow slide to the sides of the roads.

    Snowplowing is mesmerizing work anyway but add the fluid movement of the loader and the blade... and even that steady stroke of the wiper (the chatter of the blades too) and you get a hypnotic and relaxing thing to watch. This is why I like driving (for pleasure) so much, I find plowing and drive to both be relaxing.

    I watch these now cause we have not had any snow in southeast part of America in like 4 years - dude - this make me cozy and warm and just takes me back to being a kid again! Keep the snow ones coming and thank you so much for posting! YOU have no idea how much these just - wow - just makes me and others I show that miss snow - excited and amazed and get that SNOW DAYZ glaze in our eyes - ahhhhh to be back in 1970 again with piles of snow so high you could make an igloo in a whole mound! Cheers and stay safe out there!!

      Didn't hit curb, Knew where and when to turn the blade and wing's to keep the snow from piling up in front of driveways/parking lots (wish they'd do that where i live,,, my cars exhaust is more welds than anything else) He barely stops during the video, and for example what he does at 5:44.
      But the sound of the wiper blades still drives me nuts!

    Love the videos. As a truck driver in the northeast I'm tired of the snow. I deliver to all the Walgreens and there isn't much room for a tractor trailer. Let alone the way these idiots plow the parking lots.
