    Nice stacking on the part of the operator. Those Arctic plows are the absolute best!

    It was interesting to see how you planned your "paths" to maximize gathering snow and getting to the "drop off" spot.

    I wish my company could afford those nice front loaders like that. I have an old ford tractor that's broken.

    Even though it is a Walmart parking lot, this guy looks like he has been drinking with the way he is plowing. He is worse than my wife mowing the lawn.

      Yah, forecast could be for snow and its obviously still snowing so he is probably just keeping it open. He could also have a contract that pays him by the hour. If that was the case he is doing the right thing.

      @@truckguy6.7 Unfortunly the truth. In my area, many Businesses want to cheap out on Snow Plowing.
      When the landlord of a big commercial area changed last winter, which i was plowing for a fair und fixed rate per snow day, they changed my contract to an hourly rate which was overall way to cheap. They would even watch me over Security Cams, and correct my time by 5mins, which i stopped for an important call.
      Now i'm playing their game and exploit it, i let my Tractor with the arctic snow pusher plow on other Places and do their Parking Lot with older an smaller Equipment.
      With an fair price, that is not paid by the hour, i could easily buy a second Arctic Pusher, which would be a win-win for both parties. But they destroy that by trying to cheap out on everything.

    Looks like your going to need some salt, lots of shine when the snow is removed. Very smooth handling. Why are you piling some off the sides?

    • @camogrips
      @camogrips  5 років тому

      We salt after every storm unless it's going to be above freezing and sunny. Piling snow on the sides because we're running out of places to put it.

      Makes more sense to me to put it on the sides than in the middle!! Just sayin!

    How are you not breaking the poly blocks when you stack a pile? I’m a good operator and I can’t stack a pile like that without snapping those poly blocks. Is that a 14 foot

      I plow snow in the winter. Some people are cut out for it others not. Only way to find out is give it a try. I think the hardest part is the long hours after a big dump of snow. I am over 60 and can't await for the next storm. In my area thete is a shortage of operators. Most equipment operators are on employment insurance and want the winter off.

    I'm late commenting 9 months after. Only about 2 or at best 3 inches of snow accumulation at the time of the plowing. Easy task for the JD. 2-3 inches doesn't seem like much until you scrape it all into a pile from a parking lot. Also, were you expecting much more snow and wanted to not let it get deep and be a big chore?
