First off...mad respect to your editing...it's not lost on me the time it takes to add edits, but know that it truly shows how much that you care about the quality of content that you provide and the passion that you have for the hobby. I'm a sucker for tuxedo slabs...there is just somethin about that black boarder truly makes a card pop!!! I love your background display...it looks as sick as your grading reveals showcased in this banger of a video!!! I feel that you knocked your predictions out of the park and I enjoyed the entertainment value that they added to this crazy fun video. Thanks for sharing a piece of your collection with us and know that I'm looking forward to checking out your future content!!! Again, crazy fun video to watch!👊🏻❤️💯
Thanks Brandon for all of the kind words. I am loving my time in the hobby and getting to interact with lots of awesome likeminded people via UA-cam. Yes my videos do take a bit of time but I enjoy putting them together. I suppose I’ve found a second hobby with it. Thanks so much for the support.
Great editing John love this 💙❤️🔥💪👀 2:02 big card 💯👊 We always need our hobby funds 👍 Listed by that much 😂🤣 Keep on documenting our hobby history you make great content my friend 🚂🚂👍👊
Thanks Bryan! Hobby funds are a must and cannot impinge on household budget. I’m having a blast with my primary hobby and what unexpectedly became my secondary hobby, video editing. LOL
Best UA-cam vintage card video opening ever! ... unless you are Theo! 😆 I can't wait to get my SGC 4.5 and be your clubby of discerning quality that understands the huge chasm between an inferior SGC 4 of that card and a glorious SGC 4.5! 😆 Speaking of clubbies, we are of course clubbies on one of the most glorious cards ever (truly!); the 1951 Bowman Berra! 🤯🤯 John, this whole SGC reveal was / is simply awesome! Epic ending too! 😊
Excellent submission, John! You are 100% correct on that Kell, what a difference transferring that from BVG to SGC. Nicely done all around, and you have some serious grade prediction skills 🙂
Thanks Shane! It astounds me that they have done that to every card they have ever graded at Beckett. I guess for my prognostication, practice has made almost perfect.
There are a lot of beautiful Liebig cards that were made a long time ago. They are pieces of art. So cool you met Roger! He was great to watch play with his high knees running style. Thanks for watching and commenting Drew!
Really nice returns, John. You showed cards I didn’t know existed. You did a pretty good job with your predictions. Vintage looks so good in the tux. Time will tell how SGC does with the acquisition. I enjoy being in a “state of bliss”. 🙈🙉🙊😁
Thanks Ken! Glad to provide some education. I have gotten better at judging the grades with more practice. It does look great in the tux. I think we all should aspire for that state of bliss. LOL
@doug_sports_collector Just watched your VR for Rick. FYI, if you say yes to the video being for kids, it does not allow people to comment, so I would recommend changing that setting to No.
Thanks Rob! I guess I've done it enough now where practice has made almost perfect? Glad you enjoyed the ending. It always takes more work to pull clips like that out of other people's videos but once I get an idea in my head I feel compelled.
Yes, epic overreactions to the SGC news. I have an order in with them now, taking longer than I expected but I love the Tux look. Anyway, great reveals with some pretty awesome cards. Thanks for sharing John.
It definitely got people excited. I would say my instant reaction was a bit of shock and concern. My order did take longer than my previous ones but still far quicker than their new corporate brother. Thanks Doug!
Great reveal John, all of those cards have fantastic eye appeal! Love the video ending, also I did not know your 71 Clemente was a 1/2 grade higher than Theo’s😊
Thanks Billy! I was surprised I came so close on all of them. Definitely my best performance to date. I figure long term if SGC is eventually absorbed into PSA then I’ll just have to stick with already slabbed SGC cards which is already about 80% of what I do now.
Wow!!! That Clemente is so nice I’m starting to think I ought go for a 4.5 version just to have as my only representative of a graded card in my collection
Nice share John. Roger Craig should be in the football HOF in my opinion. Plus he is a former Cornhusker Nice Berra, Kell, Ryan so many awesome cards Enjoyed and thanks for sharing with us.
Continually rubbing Theo’s nose if your higher grade will never get old. Hilarious. And I was caught off guard when I saw my ugly face at the end. Super funny.
It is starting to feel like it could be a regular fixture in every video. LOL Glad you enjoyed the ending. I think the face for radio club probably covers a wide expanse of our niche.
That Clemente is fantastic. So glad you didn’t cheap out and go any lower.m, to like a 3. The rest of the stuff is cool, but that Clemente gives you Max Rizz
Thanks Brent! It would have been lame to go the cheap route on it. I'll have to tell my family that I now have max rizz. I'm sure they will be impressed.
Thank you! Yes… that is a part of my obsessive project to collect an example of the first year on cardboard for each of the six major world leaders at the outset of WWII. If you’d like to know more I’d recommend watching this: ua-cam.com/video/wjqW4ppfyHE/v-deo.htmlsi=KRkWdmoFPzQ_3ABK
@johnrambo7630 Thanks! While I like to collect fun items I do have a mental issue with things being uniform so the oversized items are completely out for me. I was actually pondering a mini for my other 75 Topps card for my Hall of Fame collecting plan.
@@3D80sKid thanks. My first grade submission was to BGS through my LCS at the time when BGS was the perceived #2. I’ve thought about crossing over to SGC, but am hesitant to crack them out. Thanks for letting me know what you did!
From my observations, I have seen some very old label SGC cards that seemed generously over graded. (Some prewar graded around 3 that look like a 1 or 1.5) Other than that it seems like they’ve been very consistent for more than a decade. Thanks for watching!

Great return. Like you said they are going to look good up on the wall. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Mike!
Great stuff! Really enjoying the Leibigs myself also!
Thanks Drew! They are pieces of art.
Nice job preparing this reveal, John. I like the way you did it and you were close on your predictions. Well done
Thanks Hugo! I’m very pleased with the cards in their tuxes.

Thanks Adam! It would be amazing if you became my SGC 4.5 clubby.
I love the Yogi as it is my favorite card of his. Glad you enjoyed it.
Epic video John !! Great guesses you nailed em 👊👊👊👊
Thanks Dylan! I was pleased with my prognostication performance.

Really nice looking cards. You did well 👏
Thanks Craig! I’m pleased with the results.
Nice cards John. The Yogi '51 is probably my favorite card of his. Terrific version of that Rizzuto. All around pretty good submission. Congrats.
Thanks Sammy! I agree on the Berra. The red on that Rizzuto just pops.
Great cross overs. That’s such a great Rizzuto. I’ve been eying that for years. Well done all around.
Thanks Doug! The Rizzuto I got from Chris is soooo nice. Thanks!
Woah that Scooter is amazing. The color is outstanding. 51 Bowman Yogi is sweet. Great stuff.
Yes a very gorgeous red background on it. It's definitely my favorite Berra card. Thanks for watching!
Nailed the predictions. Beautiful cards, they look great in the Tux.
I have gotten better at that. They do look better in their tux. Thanks Eric!
You did really well on those submissions. Congratulations. The tux is a great look on those cards. Take care.
Thank you! Everything looks better in a tux. 👍
@@3D80sKid Sexy!
Great color and detail in the Tesla card. Roger Craig! Great guy. Met him several times here in Lincoln. Thanks for sharing your reveal with us.

Congrats on your return John! I think you did well on your grades.
Thanks Jason! I was pleased with the results.
Great returns John!
Thanks Sammy!
Great cards! I agree about the SGC slabs, I think they're just classy as heck.
Thank you! They do make vintage cards really pop.
Awesome SGC REVEAL. Sweet Yogi. Really enjoyed
Thanks Scott! It is a great Yogi card.
Nice cards John , i really like the 49 Rizzuto. Congratulations 🎉

They look great in the tuxedo. Congrats
Absolutely they do.
Great SGC reveals John!

@3D80sKid , thanks John, missed this when uploading, appreciate the help.
Very impressive batting average, John! Some beautiful cards. I think I need to send my cards to you for a pre-grading assessment. Classic ending.

Thanks Steve! I enjoy my daily viewing. Glad you liked the ending. Definitely good then that I keep spreading the word on my 71 Clemente.
Awesome cards, John. You nailed the grades pretty well. I kind of had the same reaction to the SGC purchase as you!

Very nice cards. They look better in tuxedos
Thanks Peter! Agreed!
Sweet cards and congrats on the grades! Love those Tesla cards! Nice to see that SHC and PSA agreed on the couple you crossed over!
Thanks Jim! Liebig made a lot of beautiful cards. Yes it was good to see consistency between the companies.
Congrats on the really nice returns John! I share your opinion on the news!

Nice Rizzuto and Yogi !
Thank you! I love em.
Pretty cool Tesla cards and that Rizzuto is a beaut!
Thank you! The Tesla and most Liebig cards look like pieces of art worthy of a museum. The color and clarity of the Rizzuto card is gorgeous.

Thanks Don! Looks like I’ll be offering up my SGC 3 Sunday night on trade night.
Fun video. Are you a fan of the 1975 Topps mini cards?
Thanks! I have never owned one, why do you ask?
@3D80sKid You collect fun cards, just wondered what your thoughts were on things like minis, tall boys and the 1971 topps super cards.
@johnrambo7630 Thanks! While I like to collect fun items I do have a mental issue with things being uniform so the oversized items are completely out for me. I was actually pondering a mini for my other 75 Topps card for my Hall of Fame collecting plan.
Nice return. Did you crack out the cross over cards before sending them in?
Thanks Jon! I have never cracked a card.
@@3D80sKid thanks. My first grade submission was to BGS through my LCS at the time when BGS was the perceived #2. I’ve thought about crossing over to SGC, but am hesitant to crack them out. Thanks for letting me know what you did!
From my experience, it has seemed like SGC fairly evaluates the grade after cracking anyone's slab.
When did sgc grade the harshest....now or ten years ago?
From my observations, I have seen some very old label SGC cards that seemed generously over graded. (Some prewar graded around 3 that look like a 1 or 1.5) Other than that it seems like they’ve been very consistent for more than a decade.

Just wondering, how long did it take for you to get this order back?
I didn’t strictly track it but I think it was ~4 weeks. So they are a little behind of what they were previously doing.
Thanks for watching!
@@3D80sKid I was going to say because I have six orders in and the first one was on March 25 and it finally just said post grading yesterday
