The White Temple, Wat Rong Khun, Chiang Rai, Thailand

The White Temple, or Wat Rong Khun, is an outstanding architectural complex located in Chiang Rai province in Thailand. It’s one of the country's most visited attractions.
This contemporary Buddhist temple was designed in 1997 by the national artist Chalermchai Kositpipat.
The site continues to be in progress with its many remarkable constructions, reflecting Kositpipat's vision to create both a spiritual venue and a work of art. The works are not expected to be completed until 2070.
