I’ve just had my bikes first service at 888 miles, it’s now at 1400. Do you think I should an oil and filter change yet? As my next service is at 3700 and surely I’m not gonna wait that long to change the oil and filter?

Great video mate! I have the same bike as you and I really enjoy it! I've just noticed one thing with it and that is when idling its sometimes just dies, does your bike do this to?
Have you ran it in properly (kept it at low revs and around 40-45 mph) for the first 600 miles? Then after that you should pick up the pace a little bit put it up to 50-55 then after second service your bike should’ve been broken in? And also if it’s just dying on you when riding I’m very sure you have a loose fuse somewhere it’ll just be a pure fact of plugging it back in you should find it near your battery or underneath plastics etc ..

Oh really was all good tho mate most 125s are 10w 40 so was fine bikes still going and has only had 10w 40 in it but I’ve not got that anymore nee vid coming today with the new bike
@@vytaraspaigis9212 came with the bike as bought it new but I’d assume there would be a copy online as managed to find one for my new bike if not maybe look to see if they do a haynes manual for that bike as they cover everything in them !
@@ThrottleThrasher unfortunately no luck online or with haynes manuals, I’ve been working with bikes for a while, have seen a few that just simply don’t seem to have a manual online, didn’t think a 2019 aprilia would be one of them…pretty disappointed ngl. I will have to rebuild the forks, not sure how that’s gonna work. Thanks tho. 👍

@@andormarusic213 it’s an actual headlight I just searched ktm led headlight on eBay was £50 as wanted led as is way brighter then I just took the plug off from the original cables and plugged the wires into the new ktm headlight !
No use the 5w 40 just all my other 125s were 10w 40 so assumed would be the same bike ran fine on it just not sure it will damage the engine long term as 5w is not as thick so

At 3.07 behind the sump its a little oil filter. It comes out with a little tug. You should check that for and debris and crap onit pal.

I do and oil change every 1000 miles so 1 L is plenty but that just me and I can looks as swapped the bike for something else
