I love my '22 GT650... As for your heat complaint, I'm in Ireland, its normally pretty cold, so I have no complaints about it keeping my legs warm! I came down in bike size from GSXR1000's and Fireblades, and this is the most fun I've had on a bike in 20 years!
I've ridden the desert in southern California at 115F and as long as your knees aren't on the engine I don't notice the heat and I took those little guards off.
Sweet! I picked up this exact bike yesterday with the S&S pipes. My 7th bike since 2001 and I also started on a Ninja 250. Only 40 miles in but really happy with it and the color is amazing. Still deciding if I'm going to leave the baffles in or not. It's a lot of bike for the money and you can't beat the warranty! I have bar end mirrors coming Monday. Enjoy your new ride. I know I will!

I live on the east coast of Australia where it gets pretty warm in summer, so something to think about if I go ahead with my first motorcycle purchase in many years. Still strangely not deterring me, as I really have fallen in love with this bike as I see you have.
I was struggling to think of a negative. It’s blazing hot here and the bike heat really doesn’t bother me all that much at all… outside of being nit picky.
I'm on the west coast of aus. The heat is fine in summer, at least it doesn't have fans blasting u with hot air at the lights. I've even deleted those black wire knee guards. I can't recommend this bike enough, it's just such a blast to ride.

I've got 6,500 miles on mine. No problems, and I've done a lot of performance mods. Bought mine in 2019. First year. I'm an early adopter! The CRG mirrors are great and give me much better vision than either the stock Mickey Mouse or stock bar ends. I don't have any hot leg issues with mine --- different body shape I guess.
Picked up my 650GT on 4/30/22 It was British Racing Green, but the dealer changed it to the now discontinued white "Ice Queen" colorway when he asked what my favorite color was. I got to keep the Green tank. It makes great decor, plus I have a spare just in case of a spill. Unless you have a love for classic British twins, many people don't get this bike. I used to live in ABQ. worked for the corrections dept in Los Lunas. Still miss the area.
I own a 2020 Dr Mayhem before I rode it of the off the lot I had the tires changed out with a 150 rear. S&S exhaust. . Engine guard , end mirrors. , the rear end will be bobbed this rear for a more Cafe look. I love this Bike. The more I ride it the better the exhaust sounds and I haven't even pulled the baffles out .the Bike looks so good !! Rides and shifts like a dream. I also own a 90 Cafed GL1300 and of course a beast of a Busa for those days I feel a little Lawless.
Riding position is mostly the only change between this and the interceptor but I don’t feel this is uncomfortable at all. Have you ridden them? The paint jobs on the interceptor are amazing though.
im more looking into the meteor.. its such a pretty bike, and for city riding, with that slipper clutch? holy cow man I wanted to buy one so bad... just can't justify getting a new bike right now.
I disagree, I don't find it that hot after coming from an air cooled 950. Personally, I think anyone that would ride a bike in shorts where the heat might be an issue is an idiot, but that's me. Being 6'1" as well my knees are exactly where the guards are but I prefer to sit back a little farther I guess. If your interested in dropping another 10lbs go with a lithium battery.
If you talk about power no doubt i have crossed 170kmph due to heavy wind i can't crossed 180kmph but power is awesome, seating posture also comfortable i ride 405km one way long ride without back pain and wrist pain
In India we brought this for about 4,500$ only.I know its all becauses of taxes you guys have to pay more same as we pay more for play stations, graphic cards, Computer processors and I phones.😅

Regarding the heat for your feet and knees, how far do you point your knees and toes outwards to find that new sweetspot and does that posture tire you for the lengthier rides much? Thanks, Regards
I’m glad you asked, I really only do it for a few seconds every now and then, not really for long periods of time. The riding position seems very comfortable and natural overall. I can ride for about an hour before my ass needs a break.

I hate the idea of buying new but couldn’t find anything used after searching for awhile. The 3 year warranty is what sealed the deal. Competing used bikes like a Thruxton 900 were similarly priced or more with tons of miles. If I had to do it again I would. Planning on a 500 mile update video within the next few weeks.

If you talk about power no doubt i have crossed 170kmph due to heavy wind i can't crossed 180kmph but power is awesome, seating posture also comfortable i ride 405km one way long ride without back pain and wrist pain

39k miles and a broken speedometer cable. That's everything that's broken.
As regard to the heat disapation; Have you tried wearing riding gear? I know wearing proper gear is a wild notion but just imagine if everyone did.
Did you buy black wheels or have them powder coated? I also bought a 2022 GT 650 in the black/white color but mine are sliver rims
Interesting, these are stock. I know the earlier models have silver but didn’t realize newer ones did too.
