Best to assume everyone is positive. I was upset my state let people travel with a negative test but NO quarantining. You need both 10 days quarantine at least and a negative test / no temperature. People don’t test positive for up to 8 days after getting it and possibly spreading it. It’s why we aren’t allowed to socialize with people outside our household, travel, and we must wear masks when indoors and near people (outside or inside)
Thank you guys for being real and talking about how crazy this whole experience and time is. Quarantine has taught a ton of people what their relationship means to them. You should always want to be with someone who can help you ride out the storm. People who betray a trust during such a frightening time...well, they showed what kind of partner they are. Trust your gut.

Yo, don't get that Hio Covid! I think I had Covid way back in March, but the fall out has been way worse than the original week of sickness..since I've had daily headaches, joint problems, respiratory struggles, brain fog, fatigue. I went from super active, gym, running, hiking, to struggle bus. Crazy. Be safe out there!!

I’m in the Chicago suburbs, and we don’t even have rapid tests in our area. Even with the PCR tests, it takes 7-10 days to get results back, so people are always facing the dilemma of whether to stay home from work and/or get tested because people don’t wanna use their PTO to quarantine :/ When my mom thought she had covid, her doctor was advising all of us to stay home when you have any symptoms and avoid getting a test and possibly spreading it more (we ended up getting one anyways and were negative). Freaking bonkers, but I guess it makes sense that public health responses are specialized for different areas.

My last test, which they conducted in the Amazon warehouse in Robbinsville, NJ, where I work, came back inconclusive. It freaked me out.

Always use 12AWG cords
so to extract the eggs you have to inject yourself with about 10 shots a day and go to give blood every other day basically and that goes on for almost a month. its a harrowing experience to do alone. I know this is a year later but if the caller is reading the comments i recommend finding a friend to go through it with and yes natasha was right the eggs last longer if they are fertilized before cryo. its also very expensive and also it is very time consuming. its a very intense experience. meanwhile its almost 8 years since i did it. dont know where my 3 total eggs are anymore they were unfertilized and i couldnt afford to continue to pay to keep them frozen so it was a waste of the close to 20 i paid after my job health insurance covered the 60% of it
You guys will be fine. Plenty of people test positive and never get sick. And yes, there are false positives. :)

Thinking you are positive with covid and then deciding that instead of going and quarantining at your house that your best course of action is to go stay at an Airbnb is extremely selfish. How did you guys decide that exposing someone else’s home to covid was the best course of action? Even if you weren’t sure about the results, risking giving it to someone else is awful.
