WOW!! I have no other words but wow!! This is incredible! Well done mama!!
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely homeschool place. It’s my first year homeschooling, and it was so helpful. I appreciate it! ❤
Wow what a dream! Absolutely amazing and better than a school!! That room is about half the size of my apartment 😂 your children are getting such amazing education and you make it so enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing! Love your channel x
Thank you Jasmine ❤️
Yay, I've been looking forward to this one!! Thank you :) This is so different than the last learning area tour, so nice to see the update. Beautiful home!
Thank you so much ❤️ Happy you enjoyed it 😊
Wow 🤩 what an amazing environment! I can’t imagine how long and how expensive this was for you! ❤️❤️
This is a super helpful video! I’m at the beginning of our Montessori homeschool journey, and I’m struggling with planning and routine. Can you share how you plan your lessons and what your homeschool routine looks like? I love that you follow the child but how do you make sure you’re presenting lessons to help them progress? How often do you present? Do you have a time period like a circle time where you present and then let the children choose their work after? How often do you incorporate your other activities (like your fall/spring/etc.) with your Montessori curriculum? What does that structure look like? Thank you so much for all your resources!
Beautiful space!
Thank you! 😊❤
Hi!! I see the amazon links in the description- do you have a storefront I could browse? Thanks :-)
I’m currently working on the storefront. I’m sorry for the inconvenience of having to click on different links for now ❤️ I’ll have it up soon.
So beautiful video ❤❤❤
Thank you Syed ❤️
I have been looking forward to this video!! Thank you, this is inspiring! Wanted to ask you a few questions, which state do you live now and how many acres do you have for such a beautiful view out your sunroom?
Also, on top of you LA shelf, you have very neat cards with grammar symbols. The Land of the Parts of Speech and other “sample cards” as you called them. Where are those from, please? Thank you!
I also would like to know where you got your grammar symbol cards.❤
Love to watch your channel, it inspires me to organize and set up our learning area as neatly as yours. Would you mind linking the land and water forms puzzles? I have searched high and low for them 😅
Hi! Unfortunately that puzzle is quite old and they are no longer made. I happened to find this one through EBay. Sorry about that. But keep looking!! You never know what you can find ❤️
May I ask where you got you pink tower?
We actually got it online from Montessori Outlet . ❤️
mom of three under 5 here; how do you stop your smaller ones from destroying the shelf work for the older prek age ? pls help
I have the same question. The one-year-old will just pull everything off the shelves and break things.
Do you plan on purchasing the large Montessori continent puzzle maps? If not what material do you use to teach the countries for each continent?
We have all of the large Montessori continent maps. They’re a wonderful resource for our unit studies.
Do you have link for the busy book?
This is absolutely a fabulous place to learn play and grow. Love from India. May I know how you started giving lessons for two to three years old or even up to four years old. In India many parents are doing Montessori, Waldorf, and right brain education and above all the kids been sent to traditional curriculum based schools. This is largely because of the recognition of education for future graduate degree I understand. But this is not so overwhelming for a tender little kid. I saw flash cards in your shelf’s as well. That is why this particular question I have raised.
Hi Renuka 😊 For younger children it’s best to start with Montessori materials that help build their fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination and hand to hand transfer. You can then move on to recognizing color patterns, matching activities, language activities even math (counting). As your child progresses, keep giving your children materials that interest them. The flash cards that you see are what we call 3 part cards and those help to enrich language, grow vocabulary, perfect spelling, classify materials and build connections between certain objects. I mostly work with Montessori materials but I like to mix curriculums and really cater to what my children need because they all learn differently and are interested in different things at different times. I hope that helps answer your questions ❤️
@@allhart This is exactly what I’m doing. Thanks allot. I’m doing matching and counting activities for my 26 month old baby girl. We do use some senatorial materials as well. ❤ Best wishes for you and your kids on your endeavours.
What a dream homeschool space!…. Where did u get the Land Of The Parts Of Speech book?
Hi 😊 I actually received this during my training. I’m not sure if these are sold separately from a store. I’ve actually been wanting to create my own version. I’ll let you know when that is in the works 😉 ❤️
@@allhartI am homeschooling my son this year. I have some Montessori matierials, but extra confidence to teach him. May I ask for the link where you got your training?
Oh my gosh. Your rooms are always incredible. I just want to come learn and play!! What are the spiral bound Montessori workbooks? Is that a curriculum?
Hi. Do you mean the black binders? They’re actually just extra supplemental work to help with their aid in their regular studies ❤️
Hello Marcy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful learning room and updated playroom video. I am truly inspired!
I already have a Montessori inspired playroom for my toddler but I'm currently studying a curriculum to start implementing early childhood homeschooling for her and arranging a 2nd space for her learning room. I also have another baby on the way. So I am trying to implement a learning room and redo the playroom to accommodate the both of them.
Anyhow, all that to ask, How do I differentiate between the two rooms? A lot of the materials in learning room are also in the playroom. For example, you have an art area in both rooms. How do you separate the two? is the learning room more structured? I am trying to implement the Montessori 3hr work cycle in our learning room. I am still learning so I'm sorry if my question comes across as silly.
Also, do you follow a specific curriculum? Where do you get your inspirations/activity ideas from for each unit?
Thanks so much once again!
Yes. The learning room art area is more structured and has materials that aid in any of our unit studies. The playroom art room has the essentials that they would need to draw, paint, color and craft etc. We don’t follow a specific curriculum, really I’ve created my own. And it’s a mixture of Montessori (80%) and then Waldorf and Reggio along with some traditional school work. You really just have to do what works best for your child. Don’t feel the need to follow any one specific curriculum especially if it makes things more challenging for you or your children. Some things may work for one child that may not work for your second. If you have anymore questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I’m so sorry it took me a while to write back . I hadn’t seen this one 🤦♀️. Thanks again ❤️
Beautiful space! Do you mind sharing the space puzzle with the 3D bits?
It’s called Discovery Space Puzzle + Play by Crocodile Creek ❤️
@@allhart thank you!
Does this stay like that, my kid just takes everything out and does not wanna put it back. This is like a dream
The only time items aren’t on the shelves are when they’re being used. Knowing where items go is a huge part in keeping things organized. Every item has a home in our space and my children have grown up in an environment that helps teach them that ❤️
I’m soooo interested in the wooden country or continent pin maps you have. Do you have a link? Also loving the felt skeleton! Is that an Etsy thing?
The continent pin map is something I purchased from an antique shop actually. One of those rare finds! And the felt skeleton is definitely an Etsy find. I can see if I can find the link for you if you’re interested ❤️ Just let me know 😊
Why is the round table short?
Super, How do you do that to keep the place so clean and tidy? My sons always have a big mess😂 greetings from Poland
Hi Maja 😊. It helps to have a place for everything and to make sure they know where everything goes. Each shelf is a different subject matter, so that also helps when organizing and placing materials back in their designated area. Repetition is key ❤️ It may take a little time for them to get it…but keep at it 😉
Hello i get to know where i can find the prints of Anatomy busy book.
I got them off Etsy ❤️
Do you have a list of all these toys?
Thanks!❤
How old is your son? Because I saw grammar cards that contained recognition of adverbs, or verbs. For a child to understand what a verb is I believe it should be at least 6 years old. I mean when we started learning grammar I was in school and at 7 I started learning writing and reading, and that grammar was introduced later. I am 34 now. So I was wondering what age have you started with your boy?
He’s 7 years old now. I started introducing the concept of grammar at the age of 5 with just introducing nouns, verbs. Then we moved on to different grammar symbols. Using the grammar symbols makes it easier for children to identify different grammar structures. My son started reading at age 4 so it was easier for him identify the grammar symbols in sentences at an early age. But all children are different and will learn at different times. ❤️
Where did you get that round table/chairs?
Hi 👋. The table I actually made and the chairs are from Community Playthings ❤️
@@allhart thank you so much for the response!
I have recently made the decision to homeschool my 3,5,7 year old and I am going to set our guest house on our property up just like this. Specifically the living room will be the learning room.
where can I get the land and water cabinet?!
Lastly, are you planning on homeschooling your children throughout every stage? I am having a difficult time finding activities/lesson ideas for 6-9 year old age group and would love to see a video for that or even just be pointed in the right direction for ideas. Specifically with how I can go about encouraging them to “learn” things like science, money, etc. (things that aren’t common for “Montessori”) and I would really love to learn more to feel more confident going in to the school year.
Thanks so much if you read all this. Your videos are my favorite out of anything I’ve seen on here and you are truly blessed in your ability to create and set up such artfully crafted learning and playing environments! ❤️
And where is the parts of a flower model from? Thanks
I actually purchased it from Amazon. I’ll link it in the description box for you ❤️
How old is your daughter? Lovely video 😊
My oldest daughter just turned 5. My youngest daughter is 1 year old ❤️ and my son is 8 😊
