Mike, I think you really need to be doing these tours as your job, period. Amazing job, clear, concise, and authentic. Great job.
Thanks Jerome! We’ll get you on camera for us soon enough!
Mike, you should host all future Axopar releases, great job! Also, the new Axo 29 looks great👍
Thank you! Much appreciated.
Been waiting a while for this!
So excited to finally share this!
Great job showing the boat Mike! Love the new design
Thanks Jeff! Glad you like it
Great job, Mike. Lots of excellent, useful, and practical info, thanks.

Thanks for watching and reaching out!
@@EastCoastYachtSalesAC available?
Improved bow seating, looking foward while underway, yay!
It’s awesome!! 🤩
THANKS SO MUCH!!! I guess all my Axopar 28 Cabin Dreams has just took a nose dive into the ground! New dreams of the 29! I hope they make the hull able to handle Twin - 250HP Motors at the least. This boat needs to do 70mph
Love to hear it!!!
Love the hull design !
Love to hear that, glad you like it!
Nice job Mike! Impressive boat.
Thank you! Glad you like the boat! We’re very excited about this all new model
Mike, one of the best reviews I have seen on YT. We love the 37 but it was a lil too big and the 28 felt miniscule and small in comparison. The 29 with all the improvements might work. We really like the U-shaped seating in the bow and the taller hull sides and deck reconfigured make these 29 look like a mini-37. The cabin is a work of art and major improvement. Hopefully they will offer a Brabus H.O. version and the Merc 300's would be perfect for what we are trying to accomplish. We need more speed. The perfect scenario would be a 33' version of this boat with the trip seats like in the 37 in the stern along with the same side seat compartments and lounger. This way you get protection if the weather changes for your passengers if they can't sit up front. Thanks for the review and I'll be looking at them this year when available.
Thank you so much! The 29 really is a mini 37 with a ton of great features that bridge the gap between 28-37. There are no models planned for in between that we know of but maybe the 29 will be a good fit for you!
Nicely done. Very clear and detailed overview. Does the heater deliver heat to the forward cabin?
Thanks for watching and reaching out! Yes, the heater does go to the multi cabin
Nice job boys!
Thank you!🙏
Any news if there will be a sink option for the multicabin as well as easier head access (no under cushion nonsense)?
While the 28 has a tight head (and this one looks like it has more headroom and much better elbow room), the 28 feels more like a complete head. This one feels like a bit of an afterthought.
Yes, there is a sink down in the multi-cabin on both of the 29s here at the Düsseldorf Show. The head is under a hinged cushion on the multi-cabin upgrade but of course you can just remove that if you want the head out in the open. Stay tuned for more videos coming soon!
Hey Mike, Great video.
One question, will you offer as an option a grill or cuisne kit instead of having two lockers for fenders?
Thanks.
Thanks for watching! No, but you can install a grill and grill mount just ahead of the fender box.
Great job stay warm
Thanks, will do! 🥶
Has Axopar considered a full hardtop option ? Thanks for a great review
Thank you, glad you like it! Axopar will not be offering full hardtops that we’re aware of. The suntop is a key feature to open up the boat and provide ventilation without having much weight aloft.
This new model 29 looks like it has a lot more bow rise then all the other models of axopar! It was one of the characters that made Axopar unique from other boat brands! Almost every other brands have a big bow rise before getting to plane where Axopar 28,37 and 45 don’t even see it having any bow rise at when going on to planing speed!
Thanks for your comment, Axopar designed the 29 intentionally to have a bit more bow rise to allow for better performance in much bigger sea conditions when you need to go slow. The boat still has almost no bow rise especially compared to other brands, and really it just looks like more due to the higher freeboard forward than we’re used to seeing on the 28. You never come close to losing the horizon when throttling up. Stay tuned for more sea trial videos with Jan-Erik (and ECYS) explaining this further!
I didn't see any mention about hooking this boat up to shore power? Does it have a shore power connection to keep the batteries charged? And how many bildge pumps does it have?
Yes, there is a shore power option! Sorry I forgot to mention that. There are 2 auto/manual bilge pumps on the boat.
@@EastCoastYachtSales Ok and also does it have AC or heat?
I have to wonder how much more finishing we can expect out of the production boat. The aft cabin hatch has no window/blind like the 28. The aft cabin looks unfinished. The multi cabin has no sink. You cant access the head without blocking the drivers sight. The rear seat support is ply wood?
This boat is the prototype, there are definitely some finishing touches yet to be executed! This video was shot back in November and already the boats here in Düsseldorf are a bit more complete. More to come!
Is there more space for a real AC anywhere?
Yes there is! Depending on the configuration.. but the forward multicabin has quite a bit of volume for an Aircon etc.
In our 28 we had a custom cabinet installed in the bathroom with the components and the batteries in the forward port locker. It works great and didn’t eat up a lot of space will be interesting how they do it in these
@@EastCoastYachtSales thanks! That is great news, lack of mechanical space is the only thing that I’ve found I don’t like on my 28.
Will the 29s have a Brabus trim option (w black powdercoat rails, etc) like the 28s?
Yes! Axopar is planning to offer a Brabus trim option similar to the 28, 37 and 45.
Is there ac/heat available in both sleeping spaces on this boat? Overnighting on any boat without those is absolutely miserable
A diesel heater is available from Axopar but no aircon. It all depends on your climate but we’ve found up North that the heater is great but air conditioning isn’t needed at all for the few nights a year that are spent onboard. Of course we’ve had owners add aircon post-production if that’s a deal breaker.
@@EastCoastYachtSales Ok my wife is the one who really wants the air conditioner. Maybe I'll see if I can make a portable one work. Just have to see how I can vent the hot air from it out of the boat.
Without wood it doesn't look as cozy as its predecessor. the interior decoration gives a cheaper impression.
Thanks for watching! This was the 1st prototype with definitely more improvements and changes to come. There is already more wood on the v2 prototypes here at the Düsseldorf Boat Show this week. More walkthroughs and 29 features to come!
