    Great review, I just bought that same setup from MassDrop. I already have the basic same setup I bought a few years ago from a company that's no longer in business. It was LightTrail I believe, their kit came with a pot that didn't have a handles, a cuben fiber stuff sack and the rest pretty much the same. I love that my cook kit can boils 2 cups of water 3 different nights with 2 tablets and weighs less then 4ozs. Oh, it didn't come with the spork. Anyway, I'm so fond of it I bought this Toaks kit too. I'm sure you'll get many years of great use with it. I know I have, thanks for sharing.

    Boy, that was a tiny, feather light system . . . nice! You also present the information in a very teachable and enjoyable way. Thanks

    Impressive cook system! You've been gone for a while, great to see you making videos again Anthony! I have a few bits of Toaks Ti gear myself, great light weight stuff. Gotta say I really enjoy the CF sacks you made for me. atb Don

    Something I do which might help you is I put "X"s on one of my little stuff sacks so I dont put my spoon in with the esbit residue.

    Good vid. , i"m sure that 550 pot carries a small gas canister & then fits into a toaks 900 pot for when a larger cookset is needed :)

    Since you have a big stuff sack, why not store the windscreen on the outside of the pot? Any esbit residue on the sides of the cup & inside of the screen would be together. You could have left the screen taller too.

    I have a near identical pot and cup that I bought for way less than the Toaks prices, it is branded Tomshoo and I bought them on ebay.

    Even the Chinese are advanced enough to count in tens! Metric please! Still a good vid though. I don’t much use those tabs anymore. Esbit or Hexamine. It’s a Trangia Ti burner and fuel with a pocket rocket for backup. Foolproof , quick and light. Thank you. Oh, I’m not a spork man. I have some of them, but what’s wrong with a fork, spoon and knife? In Ti, of course.

      Unfortunately, we use both systems of measurement here in the States and I don't think much about it when needing to convert. I have an app on my phone I use regularly. Having said that, I updated the description with conversions. Thanks for watching!!!

    Metrics, please, even if you just add them as a note at the bottom of your screen. Only three countries in the world use the Imperial system.

      It's a free video, are you truly that lazy? Maybe he can come over and push the keys for you to look it up on the manufacturer's website.

    First time viewer. So let me get this straight: you got a boil on less than one tablet? I have tried Esbit so many times. I want to embrace it, but I cannot see using two tablets to have some cocoa. Or put another way, spend a buck in fuel for a dime worth of cocoa. I have heard that the windscreen is essential. I would love for this to be my cook system if it will work. My complaint with compressed gas is you never really know how much is left in a can! A few more details would really be appreciated. Thanks for the video.

    Question:
    What do Americans talk about if they say "one cup of water" - i hear that quite a lot and you seem to know how many milliliters that equals.. So how much is it? 250? 300?
    We have cups in different sizes over here in Europe =)

    • @scottbrutus
      @scottbrutus 7 років тому +1

      Here 1 cup means 8 US fluid ounces. I looked it up and that equals about 236.5 milliliters

    • @whatlunaticever

    Can a 4oz/100gram fuel canister fit into the 375ml cup?

    • @WildGearAdventures
      @WildGearAdventures  5 років тому

      No, a 100g fuel canister wil not fit in the 375ml cup but fits nicely in the 550ml cup.
