- Today I bought the BEST LEGO Knockoffs and Fake LEGO Sets/ minifigures I could find. This includes playmobil, Mega Construx and pokemon sets with lego halo sets! These fake lego sets were weird products!

my mum bought a fake lego botanical set on aliexpress which, apart from missing the lego logo and the proper box, is identical to the official product, the quality was also really good.
I gotta say it. Mega Construx/Bloks is the second largest brick building company after Lego. So saying they are a "knock off" isn't true. I love the video!

It is so funny how everbody calls them knockoffs. There are many good brands for bricks, some are better than Lego.
Mega Contrux Giant Pikachu is such a bad set in my opinion,It was very uncomfortable to build and the head couldn’t stay on without tape
I bought those TMNT figures a few weeks ago they are really impressive!

@@Sponge12580 they are good they have wrist and elbow wrap printing in the same colour as the mask. They articulate well.
Here is a thing I would recommend you to see for, Sembo bricks, or however they are called have been doing not-LEGO bricks with very cool combining mecha sets, you could show them in sequel cause when I saw them they looked cool (mostly cause of the combination feature)

Hi, Lego's or "Klemmbausteine" as we call them in Germany. Are not protected by patents anymore. So please don't call them fake or knockoffs they are just different producers of bricks.
That would be like saying Fords are knockoffs of Benz.
Anyway you should check out some more non Lego bricks, because there are really great sets out there. I can really recommend CaDa (Lego is actually stealing designs from them for technic pieces), Cobi (their prints are mind boggling), Funwhole (Most of their sets come with good lighting modules) and Pantasy (you have never seen more sparkly gold bricks). Also Blubrixx has amazing sets too that just blow Lego away in any sense of the way.

@@batjohn I don't know much about websites, because I mostly buy my sets through Bluebrixx, because they are situated where I live, but they deliver world wide. Otherwise Amazon is an option.
But I can tell you about other Brick companies.
A thing of note the instructions are often harder then the Lego ones, especially because some companies don't separate the building into sections. So you will have a lot more bricks on the table then with a lego set.
Other good Brick Companies include:
MouldKing they have great specialty parts, but often steal Mocks from small creators (e.g. the original Orient express from lego Ideas).
LOZ - they specialize in mini blocks, which is great if you don't have a lot of space and don't want to buy diamond blocks.
Mork - they have beautiful modular buildings that are more affordable then lego.(e.g. Modern Villa, 3623 parts, 190€, Lego Boutique Hotel, 3066 parts, 230€)
Panlos - they make war boats, also fantastic non licensed Marvel sets.
QiZhiLe - great botanic sets, but their bricks aren't the best.
Reobricks - Pirate sets, some are less detailed inside but they are massive.
Zhe Gao - also have mini blocks.

I have a small collection of trains made by Mould King. While I haven't ran them at all, the attention to detail is immaculate when compared to official Lego designs.
I'm glad you didn't get sets that just blatantly stole Lego's design or a MOC artist's design, (Looking at you Lepin).
The 6556 Princes Star is also the best Lego Set of the World,200$ for 11.225 pcs.GREAT Deal.

3:23 as someone who has the Charizard set I can confirm it was indeed tough to attach but once you get past that you get a pretty good final result

The halo set is actually only supposed to be $20 usd , if you went to a target it would’ve been cheaper

i will say that both real lego and fake lego have there up's and downs.
real lego is more high quality but more expensive.
while sometimes fake lego can be poor quality, is alot cheaper to afford.

I REALLY want that doctor octopus minifigure but I don’t want to pay for something which has a chance of having a piece breaking because if the plastic was high enough quality I’d buy it because then no pieces would break

I also have some megabloks pokémon and I really like them so much. And some other fake lego sets that r cool.
I hated fake Lego at first... but then I found some pretty great Five Nights at Freddys minifigs. And as a FNAF fan I had to get them. And the quallity is pretty good, so happy I got them😄

GenericStud is such an underated UA-camr, you know the days boutta be good when he uploads.
Mega is not a knockoff of Lego, that's disingenuous. Just because another company uses interlocking bricks doesn't make it a knockoff. If that were the case, then Lego is a knockoff of Kiddicraft.
Also it's weird to complain about the price of Mega when you bought a set from a listing above retail price. The set costs $25. Mega's sets are very commonly cheaper than similar Lego sets. Things like a small Mega set with a small vehicle and four figures would sell for $15 retail, and a Lego SW set with four figs and a small speeder or something is usually $20-25. Not to mention Lego's price gouging on their 3+ sets.

Mega isn’t really a knockoff brand. They are just a competitor just as Lego was to other companies. I feel a true knockoff brand copies everything down to sets. Mega has their own pieces and their own sets that don’t copy Lego. The basic elements are nearly the same but so was Lego’s when they made their first bricks to compete with other companies. A company like Lepin is a knockoff because they rip off everything down to set design. Mega is not a knockoff because they use their own designs and make their own sets with their own licenses.
