Murda Weapon on heavy rotation since 95. Salute Da Hound. Cool, humble brotha...good spirits. Album and features were better than alot of his label mates. Alota folks didn't get the careers that they wanted with NL, but the business model was designed like that. Sometimes opportunities are just that... ain't nothing wrong with that...but you're still here...and that's everything.

Soulja slim stayed down with No Limit even after everyone left in 1999 so P respected him.

Full blooded dont feel bad bruh alot of niggaz didnt make the tour you wasnt the only one homie. We know full blooded a dog with the music but it was just business with some artist. I understand where he coming from when he said he wasnt a favorite like some no limit artist, as a no limit fan we knew who were the favorites an the popular one's. But one thing for sure full blooded went off on them features an on C-murder album. Real talk them 2 features on C-murder album is what put full blooded on an got recognized. An when he dropped his album i definitely wanted to hear it, i just think it was bad timing but that album still a no limit classic. P was just on business man he knew no limit was on fire, an like krazy said in an interview no limit was so hot they could of recorded shit an fart sounds on a cd an the shit would of went platinum. P was tryna make them millions he knew he could of got anybody from the hood that can rap just a little bit put out an album on him an the shit would go gold or platinum. An remember even if it didn't P was getting 85 percent of record sales, the more albums he put out the more money he get.

No limit had 3 tiers of rappers "goin on sound, features, production ect" with tier 1 bein P, C, Silkk, Mystikal, Snoop, Mia, Fiend n Mac. Tier 2 bein ya Magics and Big Ed type cats. Tier 3 had sum of the hardest gangsta production. Hound, Ghetto Commission, Prime Suspects ect.. I think if Slim woulda never got killed he woulda eventually brought Hound to cutthroat.

When i was 13 my older girlfriend who was 16 had stole a couple cds from her brother to give to me to listen to since i was a big fan of new Orleans rap and i couldn't listen to rap albums that had the explicit content my people didn't want me exposed to that so they would only buy the album of the artist i liked from walmart which only had the edited version without the cursing and the albums she brought me was a lot of new Orleans rap and one of them was a thick cd case that was a double disc that said down south and i remember playing that whole album in my portable cd player and thats how i was able to know about more Louisiana artists because they would all have a song on the down south album. This was in 2000 i was just in the 6th grade my girlfriend made sure whatever album came out of the rap/r&b artist she would being it to me and let me listen to it. I can remember losing my virginity to ja rules song put it on me, me and her loved that song that song caused us to become parents at a young age even though she was 3 years older than me we created a beautiful baby girl who is now a 21 year old young adult woman in college and me and her mother was just reminiscing at her birthday party we had last week about how the ja rule song put it on me lead to us having our daughter so everytime anyone of us hear it playing we just light up with a big smile and just sing along to it i love that hip hop got me through life im 36 years old and im still a fan of hip hop the game has changed a lot since my younger days because it was all about love, partying and having fun now its kill this, guns, Disrespecting the dead and who has the most money and clout things have changed in hip hop.

the tour has to make money and they have to calculate how much each artist is gonna get based on their value. they determine your value based on your album sales in the past and things like that. it wouldnt make sense to put him on the tour because most people in the audience wouldnt know him from being on no limit. his album on no limit, most people didnt even know it came out until now because they never promoted it. the tour has to have artists that the audience recognize because they bought their albums and know their music. full blooded contributed to no limit, but he slipped thru the cracks and i guess for some reason the label never supported him when it came to his own album.

Once again somebody blaming No Limit for these rappers shortcomings. Slim two best albums were on No Limit and the only time he went gold was with No Limit. No limit helped Slim more than anything.

He would’ve been better with Cash Money! No Limit beats were all the same 4 beats replayed and remixed and it took away from the quality. Mannie beats were more diverse and colorful.
