@@jonathanjadotte exact same comment that brought me here I got a 94 splash 3.0 5 speed that I want to redo the exhaust on to make it sound more aggressive so I can drop it down on some mustang Cobra wheels and it'll sound the oart instead of a anemic farm tractor

@@takumisato7126 it has the primaries in the headers and thats it. Its a 1993 truck. They didnt come out with secondary o2 sensors until 1996
You need a spark plug defouler it spaces the o2 up an out of stream makes it read different no code
nice sound man. i use to have a 97 3.0 5 speed now i have a 96 4.0 5 speed , the 3.0 sounds way better and i like the driveability of the 3.0 over the 4.0.. but the torque and power goes to the 4.0...
what dif gearing are you running?
Diff gearing is whatever stock is. And yeah the 3.0 has a superior sound and reliability compared to the 4.0. But the 4.0 has better power

it was all customed up. and it was a royal pain in the ass to rig up and I dont reccomend it.

Not really any drone. Just the exhaust tone. Ive driven cars with drone and this truck didnt really have it

how did you get that stock shift knob off bro i cant get mine to budge
That whole thing was a custom job. The ford trucks of this era use a splined knob, not a threaded one. It's splined with some glue. I think what most people do is use a hair dryer and heat the knob until the glue melts, then pull the knob straight off the shaft
Hair drier or low power heat gun, melt the glue and get some channel locks wrap it around the shifter stick up against the knob and smack with a hammer if you try to just pull it off you'll probably punch yourself in the face when it comes loose so be careful of tbat
