I love the CHP sirens
I do as well
Who doesn’t
Does anybody remember the series that started in the 70s CHiPS?
@Anthony Brown oof
@Anthony Brown you probably don't live in California
I absolutely love the CHP cars and sirens.
same
Same hope they don’t change it
@@Bruhhi192well about that…..
me too
2:04 god the engine noise 🥵🥵🥵
i know 2012-2015 engines are So good but 2016-2019 are trash
@@AcidHope. they are the exact same engine
0:35 my guy did a dj set.
That c8 corvette at 0:31 was beautiful
Just randomly standing at street corners hoping someone goes by code 3! 😂😂😂😂😂
No Rambar? thats rare
Yup. They hacked it off and now they have the red and blue lights similar to their unmarked vehicles
Meanwhile in Australia WTH IS A RAMBAR??? We call them roobars.
Ayeee the CHP IS BACK IN ACTION BABE
Hi Santa Cruz , I hope they don't hit nobody going that fast & going around those corners like that , thanks for the compilation my friend ! 👍😊🚔🚔🚔
I like dat Tahoe that Tahoe had some bad ass
I do love the slick top polar bear without the pushbar
I've always been curious to know why police shut off their lights on a seemingly random basis when approaching intersections. Is there a reason for that?
@
Avery Carson
Not necessarily are the lights and siren shut off at a intersection it just happens to be where the person caught the video. If for example they were responding to a call that was right near that intersection they may want to pull up stealth for instance if the call was a burglar alarm. Pulling right up in front of the call not the best tactical decision and it could make the officer a target. Same goes for a EDP call you want to get there quick depending on the nature and pulling up with lights going and siren blaring may trigger the person. Also something as simple the call was canceled. I could list tons of scenarios but I think you get the idea.
Great videos!
You guys are so amazing to help the community 😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹💚💚💚🖤
Stay healthy and stay strong and stay safe 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The dodge chargers and the expedition and the explorers look so cool
Was there a pursuit in this video in 0:53
Yes
Santa Cruz Films actuall full video
Santa Cruz Films also when was this
Those were some sick catches dude !
@@BayAreaBuff heck yeah !
@@BayAreaBuff CHP sir.
How bout you
@@BayAreaBuff Or slick top 2020
Same they sound badass
Number one in great catches...........keep it up thanks
Nice catches
Awesome.
He cleared it before, besides, it’s actually better to blip your siren as the first part of it starts higher, then goes lower, hence the high low in the CHp siren. A human hear will have a better chance at hearing a siren at its loudest peak , lol.
I prefer the Ford Explorer over the new GMC/Chevy model now coming out, though the new rear directional extension light bar is a great idea
Only a couple slowed down going through the intersection. Regardless if your code 3 with lights an siren still have to go slow going through an intersection. I went through a fire academy ( which is different than law enforcement. ) But was told you can only go 15 mph through an intersection going code 3.
Somebody told you wrong !! You are exempt from the rules of the road while driving code 3...that means no limitations....now is it advisable to slow it down through intersections ? Absolutely but your not held to a speed limit
@@lorenzoadamson6893 maybe wherever your from but not in California. No one is exempt. You can't speed in a fire engine. Less time and harder to stop with a heavy vehicle.
@@lorenzoadamson6893most agencies make it policy officers must clear intersections before passing.
Most of y’all probably missed the C8 corvette in the vid
Awesome comp bud 👍👌👏
02:00 turning off siren while getting close to an intersection? Makes no sense.
Good night sir.
CHP led wig wags out at 2:10 and inner blue and red forward facing leds (next to center takedown pod) not working and rear red corner pod not working at 2:30.
Shame how they’ve allowed the first gen explorers to fall apart
Kinda late but the reason the stead burn looks like its flashing its the camera not being able to handle the light seeing with eyes and a camera is different so thats why.
Does anybody remember the tv program that started in the 70s CHiPS?
Great catching😊
Oh hey right there c h p officer I am a c h p officer t
@@alexendergarcia7614 awesome😊
Nice c8
I don't understand why California departments turn off their lights as their responding.
Probably some sort of call like a robbery in progress so they shut off when they get close so the criminal doesn’t hear them coming
Probably because if they are already pretty much their and it’s on residential streets that are not crowded there is really no point. However when there is some major back up to shots fired it would be different and they would be blasting even as they are on scene
When a officer gets called out to a call sometimes dispatch will say once near the call down grade go code 1 or 2
If your not responding code 3 then your lights don't need to be on full time, that's generally a code 2 response that your seeing
Democrats
I must say Chp is horrible with the side light. You would never know that vehicle is responding code 3 from the side
doesnt it defeat the purpose of the lights of they are not that bright at all during the day to the point where you can barely see them
Never seen a chp car without a push bar
Did anyone see a 2020 corvette at the end of the 2nd officer
Sounds like doj the first sirens
What city is that?
California idk city
@@guero.760 uh ok ya I know it’s California but thanks
Santa Cruz
Its Santa Cruz somewhere in California.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Woop woop woop
I can’t believe this slick tops chp are even in service. The are grossly under equipped for clearing intersections.
I absolutely love how minimalist they are, but you’re right.
The snowball chargers 😍
Its not a snow charger its painted white
@@xaiphiayang5142 they’re called snowball chargers as they’re intended purpose is for CVE (commercial vehicle enforcement) duties, and therefore to blend into regular traffic aka the snowball/white livery. Look it up.
@@marksweeney3777 there not snow ball there white and painted white
There white
Ford makes some pretty good vehicles, but the Explorer isn't one of them. Its good to see Tahoes making their way into the fleet.
I really like CHP very much😭
1:11,What department is that?
I gonna guess... Actually I have no frikin clue
Santa Cruz Police Department
The slick top go's through the intersection with no side lights whatsoever very dangerous I've always thought the CHP lacks in emergency lights on their slick tops from the side.
Sure that's possible altho people should still be able to have common sense to hear a siren and a police car moving high speeds, and should immediately be able to put the picture together. And those who can't need to learn
@@leightonbailey5169 lol, well they don't believe me when I say that.
