I majored in Communications (Bachelor's) and started working at a newspaper. You can probably work for a gaming blog and refine your writing skills, but the odds are in your favor you won't get paid much to do it, if you get paid at all.

I have an original Wii but I do think the ability to play your original Wii games AND games that run on par with the 360 and PS3 is full of win. I just hope Nintendo really opens the Wii U up and give devs a fighting chance to shine on the platform. And the shovelware needs to be kept to a minimum. If you have the money, yes.
You have to charge it. It comes with a bit of juice, but you need to plug it in. The good news is - you can play and charge at the same time. You can also plug and charge with the Pro Controller (charging cables included with both)
Hey man this was the best unboxing of the Wii U I've seen so far. It was 50% better than IGN and 90% better than Gamespot. I have a quick question though; Do you have to return the Wii U after you do the reviews, or did Nintendo give you the Wii U for keeps?
I can't answer that, as I haven't played either yet. However, I wouldn't judge systems but rather games. The Wii U is really not bringing a lot of new concepts to the table. It's on par with current consoles. I'll report more later. Stay tuned!

Honestly, it boils down to games. The Wii U, IMHO, is better for gaming than the PS3 and 360. It's newer and handles other tasks - like controlling your TV, playing the game on a second screen that you can't do just yet on the PS3 and 360. However, if you are an online fiend, you won't find too many ppl to play with. That's the major drawback. Other than that, yes, it totally rocks.
Since it comes with HDMI cables iv'e just noticed something. What happens to those who wanna buy a WiiU but don't have HD tv's? Are they pretty much screwed?

You know what I find interesting? Every PS3 game I've seen tops out at 720P. Did you have a source for your claim? About the 360 not doing true 1080P? An official source/authority will work.

It takes an adjustment but when you memorize the controls, you will do good.
