I rarely raised my hand in class even though I knew the correct answer because of anxiety. I thought my answer would be wrong and others will laugh. My hands and body start to shake in fear. It's a fear of losing control.
The point Bhai explained in last 2 minutes is very relatable. Anxiety ke time Banda bahot jyada negative consequences ke baare mein sochne lagta hai jabki reality mein jyada kuch hota nahi hai.

There are traumas I have faced due to bad parenting and decisions my parents took on behalf of me that forbid me from sleeping directly after I lay on the bed, I find myself thinking about them each night for sometimes more than an hour, therapy is expensive and doesn't have high chances of success. I have had panic attacks which were cured by a psychiatrist but I continue to deal with high anxiety and can't connect with people

I have faced the exact same things in my life.. My parents , especially my mother used to abuse me for not scoring the highest in the class and it kept going on till I finished my post graduation .. The constant comparisons shattered my self esteem and confidence due to which I am facing a lot of challenges till date..yes, it is difficult to handle this kind of anxiety and fear but if we try to understand our self worth , the situation can surely get better

I am currently suffering from Anxiety bcoz of my depression coz of my work for last 3 years & I left my job in June 2022 coz of this. I am jobless more than a year now. Between the month was very very difficult. Lost my father in sept 2022. Not ready to work as some companies given me less pay & low designation. What ever you said it's absolutely true.

Shwetabh ji i m facing very horrible level of anxiety and stress right now. I m totally broken & depressed. Actually i failed my jee exam and got below 75% score in 12th. Mostly because i had food poisoning and i was sick from 18 Jan to 24 Feb. Now i have to give my boards and jee again in order to get a decent college. I m currently taken admission in a terrible college but i want to give jee back so badly! But its hectic process. I have lost 2 months in trying to search a better college for me as well as i had to give my papers for rechecking which took 2 weeks additional and i was horribly stressed out! Plz save me!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
If you can afford go to private colleges whose placement record is good, otherwise first ask yourself what u actually want to do in life.
Dont waste another year on jee if you are not confirmed about ur goals.
Why u want IIT / NIIT? ask urself..
If answer is good placement then good placement can be taken from a private college( fees will be high)...
But u can afford then its no use to go for iit just to please ur parents or relatives

I want to go to RnD in astrophysics or Robotics since it was interest from childhood. I used to score easily in my school days without much effort and spend most of my free time investing in astrophysics research, rnd, sci fi novels and documentaries. IITs r never someone's dreams. They r just a way to achive them. And i want to get through that way cuz it is the best way! Also i forgot to mention that i have a only my mom who works from morning 6 am to evening 7 pm only to then cook meal for me. I have no dad (died in accident). My mom works way too hard but earns like 20k/month. We are lower middle class family. And i feel like whatever i have done is nothing compensation for her. I wanna get atleast a better college than regular one to keep her healthy and safe. She has some minor health also. I m scared. It feel like i have a lot of burden but forget about the dreams, i can't even take care of her properly.

I'm no psychiatrist but bro I've seen one thing and overcomed it, it's health. Health plays very big role in being confident and anxious, I'm not talking about physical aesthetics, but about overall health, at least sahi kha na khana chahiye, and sahi lifestyle follow karni chaiye, phir anxiety sirf hamare intellectual level pe hoti hai not at physically or survival mode.
If u keep ur health good, like eating wholesome food, exercising , being in Sunlight and night light too, spending time doing nothing is also main thing.

In my case my school teachers created anxiety and seriousness in me as I was the most overconfident student and did everything without fear , their insults made me from avergae student to temporarily topper (I am sure they dint want that) and i cracked competative exams but my anxiety stayed with me now im still nervous and anxious more than before i m only normal when im with my close friend . Even at home im bit anxious

Some psychiatrists also provide counselling services and are imo much better than psychologists.... psychiatrists are doctors and have a better and holistic understanding of the human mind than most psychologists who are just art grads with no experience in medicine. Btw this is coming from someone who has anxiety and is been taking therapy .....

Also, NO. The place can be completely safe. A person suffering from high social anxiety or c-ptsd or borderline personality or ... will perceive the situation negatively and experience anxiety.

I'm in a long distance relationship with my partner from last 4 years. We're from different cities and different cultures. Our relationship started online 4 years ago. We chatted for months and then finally met in person. Since then, we've met a few times and his whole family knows about me. Now I'm planning to tell my family too but I'm a little nervous about telling them. They'll obviously ask me how I know him and I don't know how I will tell them that I met him online. I keep getting frequent anxiety due to this. Also, I have a younger brother who is a little nosy. Whenever I tell him to focus on his life, my mother takes his side and I feel helpless. So I'm worried from his side too. Please help me out.

I think the first step you should take is get their opinions on online chatting and making friends, if they're okay with friends then you can move to step 2 or I don't think it'll work unless you lie about him being an old colleague or irl person you met.
Or you'll have to force them into agreeing with you which mostly has problems later in the life, I've seen this in my family twice that when there's a fight, even your own family doesn't support you and says, "it was you who wanted him so bad, now handle it yourself" typa things.
Ofc it'll be grateful to have a supportive family but it's very rare in India, especially when the marriages were against the will of family.
If step 1 is clear then you can proceed and get your brother on your side, I'm a single child so idk how it is lol but ig you'll have to compromise for alot and get alot of favours to get him your support if unfortunately anything unwanted happens. It's clear after that and you can manage it yourself

This video hits way too close to home, the points about teachers at school fit right into the puzzle that were my schooling years. I wasn't an outstanding student, i was right in the middle, the average mediocre kid who wasn't appreciated for trying but always berated and demoralized for not being good enough, schooling years were a nightmare. It was in college years that I realised the blatant joke schooling is, being wise is never taught, knowledge is never awarded, only having a good memory is appreciated, teachers who don't have the slightest control over their own lives will try to control your lives, the only incentive that is there to work towards is that you won't be humiliated if you score good grades. And if you somehow are intelligent enough to question the "truths" they tell you, the only answer you get is detention and expulsion.

You think about things which interests you the most. Whenever you start doing day-dreaming, stop and compare the thing you were doing and the thing you were day-dreaming about.
Now start writing why you care about what you are doing, the more time you spend on thinking this more you will realise where your priorities are.
And a pro tip- Don't say I have to do this, say I get to do this. The more you love what you love the more care you will give and higher it will be in your list of priorities.
Past is gone and will never come back. So you have to accept whatever happened in the past is gone and never gonna be changed. Past will be the same for you whenever you think about it. Don't judge past events don't negate it rather be very neutral about your past.
Future is not in your hands and future hasn't arrived yet. So whatever overthinking you do is pointless. Whatever will happen will happen. Focus on present and our thoughts ain't no real about our future.
