Nice vid mate . Would blob it down with a lighter myself but rarely if ever use this knot . Good and easy for beginners though , easy to remember and tie .Well done .
Another nice video. Personally I am not a fan of the blood knot nor any of its variations ie. the tucked blood knot/twice through the eye blood knot. This is because of its propensity to slip on finer lines. I have found using 15lb line or stronger there is no issue but with 6lb line it, for me, is not reliable. I have used the grinner for the last 25-30 years on most lines and never had a failure. That doesn't mean the grinner is the best knot for everyone as there are lots of knots and it really is an individual preference. It may be I was crap at tying the blood knot, who knows but it is great to have a good instructional video like this and if it works for you then it is the best knot :)
