the side mount is for accessories, such as: microphones, recorders, monitors, etc and there a lot of dual handles you can buy very cheap that can be use with any stabilizer. I adapted my shoulder rig to be use as a dual handle for my stabilizer for free.
I think you forgot to mention the most important feature of this stabilizer which is the 45 degree angle that makes the screen visible when you're using it and also allow you to combined your camera with longer heavier lenses as you'll have more room to move the camera backwards to create the right balance for it.
i have used my a6000 on fosicam with the shutter working. 1. enable remote mode on your a6000 2. connect the other microusb infrared trigger to the microusb port that's not on the handle. (you're using the wrong accessory). 3. point the infrared close to where the camera's receiver is. 4. use the shutter to shoot videos. The cable you were using was to connect the gimbal to computers to change settings via their software.
the screw mount on the side is for a mic/monitor mounting. If you want a small dual handed there is a feiyu a1000. I have just ordered that one, and I can't wait to finally get my hands on it.
The specs of Fosicam FD1-90 are the same of that of you tested? And about the app for android phone, already working well? Thanks for you channel. Very good.
Hey mate, the connection and some hardware design really looks its a zhiyun packed in different body. On my crane neither I can get cable to work on camera shutter or power zoom. If you find a solution I would appreciate it really much. Thanks
Have a sony a6000 that im trying to get going with this gimbal and im getting a "check connected device"message on the camera screen when conmecting the cable was wondering if you have found a fix for this issue?

Ah, that makes more sense. Thank you!
Fosicam makes a dual handle for $99. Includes remote controls like on the single handle.
That is awesome stability! Thanks.

Really curious. Did you ever get the app to work? How about the connection?
Arnie Jacobsen very good app but only for iPhone. Download from basecamelectronics.com
could you test this gimbalwith sigma 1835? wonder if it can hold such a front weight setup
how did you focus?
You can mount it side way on a tripod to get slider shots
Can you add a quick release plate?
Ionut Bucur you can put you own manfrotto comparative plate. Opposite side because of screw
The sound that the gimbal doing when you change mode(this little music) passing also in the video when you recording???
TANGO SALONIKA yes, but you would never include video footage of your gimbal “returning to home” so I don’t see that as an issue.
You can turn off sound in soft

does Lenvideo Сергей Sergey Щербаков Shcherbakov work for the gimble company? he answered all your comments ! ahaha
Finally, a video shot in 24fps. Your lens review videos are great, but the 60fps is hard to watch.
Does it work in inverted mode?
Mauricio Lopez no. But you don't need it. Because of the his design you can easy put camera down without any turning
Can I use it for a 1dx
If your setup is under 1200 grams, yes.
I think fosicam makes a heavy duty gimbal that holds about twice as much weight as this one does.
nope
:)
nicely share this video..
thanks
new subcriber..
Would be awesome to see some giveaways for us poor folk hehe.
Haha good idea. Maybe the next video.
why 4k? i liked your 60p videos very much..
It's tough to balance. Some people love the 60p, most seem to prefer 24p. I am moving into shooting 4K.
