I've always loved how savage held the title..if you not wearing it on your waist then you hold it with respect and elegance.. one of a kind!! RIP macho
Yeah man FOREVER BLESSED 76 MACHO AND JESSE D BODY AIN'T got TIME TO BLEED 😂😂VENTURA .Everything Macho man did was unique I mean "I changed my mind"😂😂😂😂
All the wrestlers now and those trying to get in the Bizz n succeed in this business, they should watch n study these old clips on selling and especially these heel interviews to draw maxiumum heat
That was real from Jesse Ventura. That's what I liked and like about The Body that he'll shoot on anyone at any time. Macho Man was the best of all time in professional wrestling and Jesse The Body Ventura was one of the greatest personalities of all time!
When we were kids, I remember thinking that Tito would get the belt back but nope. This episode of WWF might've been only six months into my wrestling days. Great promo.
Great tag team.......... Very entertaining!!!!👍 " A champion can change his mind? Can't he Elizabeth?" The dynamic between Randy being a heel & Elizabeth being a babyface valet is one of a kind!
Miss Elizabeth is so sweet, I just love her interactions with Macho Man. Their interplay is great and really rounds out Macho Man and adds so much to the fun and personality of the proceedings. He was really lucky to have her.
Interplay, seem like a battered wife talking to her abuser lol one time you can hold the belt, wait I change my mind, get outta here! I dunno, guess back then it was more accepted, just seems sketchy to put that on TV and it changed on wwf in later years.
You mean the nutjob liEberal? You mean the congressman who was the only one in Washington D.C. on 9\11 who couldn't be found because he was so cowardly he was hiding his ass to save himself? That friend?
I lived in the metro Detroit area and Maple Leaf Wrestling was broadcast on Canadian TV right across the river in Windsor. I watched this as well as Lutte International Wrestling owned by Dino Bravo and Superstars of Wrestling run by George Cannon out of Montreal as well. Never saw Stampede in my area unfortunately.
When it comes to mic work, Jesse is one of the best of all-time. I would put him up with Ric Flair and the Rock. If there was a Mt. Rushmore of mic work, Jesse would be there.
Life was great with Macho Man promo's and Jesse Ventura with Vince announcing matches. Jesse always rooted for the heels and turned a blind eye to their tricks while lambasting the babyfaces.
Did you know that Leapin' Lanny Poffo had a neat parlor trick, that he'd show to all the wrestlers in the locker room, it would put all other sex videos to shame..
1:11. I used to workout out at a gym in Hamden, CT where Jessie worked out in the early to mid 80's. He was maybe a smidge over 6'2". Macho Man looks to be 5'10", maybe 5'11" max but I doubt it.
@@1221sr My uncle was 5'10 and looked like Savage and dated his ex. He ran into him one night in 1979 and he looked way up at him. Nowhere close to 5'10.
those two made a good duo.. yeah, those were the good days of wrestling.. wrestlers had interesting and amusing charactors.. much more circus like you know.. comic book like.. the way i see it, wrestling started off boring with just straight up wrestlers, then you had the good guys and bad guys, then this era where charactors went extreme, you know, you might have barbers and african tribesmen wrestling and stuff, thats fun.. then later on, it got boring again, with everyone wanting to be badboys and kool hipsters and crap.. so that middle era was the best
lol I loved that interview. just proves Jesse dont care who he interupts. Jesse is not scared of nobody. i member watching jesse against Andre the Giant. most peope are scared of the sight of Andre but not jesse he just went over there before the bell and started attacking Andre. lol i wasnt expecting that at all. ventura was 1 guy that would make me laugh in his interviews. sorry macho man yoyr not stealing the spot light this time.
Ending is classic...Ventura looks at Billy Red like...yea we told ya so... Savage and Ventura ..classic..and Liz a good sport for pretending to be a lady slave...
Randy "Macho Man" Savage held the Intercontinental Championship like he cherished it more than his lady. The "Magnificent" (Don) Muraco, on the other hand, dragged it like it was an anchor attached to his arm; a burden to his very existence. Both worked to strengthen the character, but only one made the title feel even more important than the WWF Championship that was "occupied" by Hulk Hogan.
Is there a story about Elizabeth experience in her wwf days with Randy Savage, if she likes the idea of how she's is treated on camera with Randy Savage if she understood and enjoyed her role or not???

Back when the Intercontinental Championship actually meant something.
Randy held the belt the same way Bockwinkel held the belt.
@@thefaithslayer2553 The good old days, when a man was a man and there was a firebird or a camaro on every block!
That noise Randy made while Jesse started talking cracked me up. I love these old Macho Man promos. He was the best by a mile.
All the wrestlers now and those trying to get in the Bizz n succeed in this business, they should watch n study these old clips on selling and especially these heel interviews to draw maxiumum heat
80’s WWF promos are some of the greatest things ever to exist

New Tuber you get v
County Indian lawyer 8c8v
Chico Santana submitting in a language they can't understand 🤣🤣🤣 thats a new one to me thats classic 🤣🤣🤣 only the Jesse Ventura would say that.
They don't know Tito quit 😂😂😂
Chico the man the creator of the bad guy, razon ramon ( the name at least )
Covid-19 stress reliever. I never get tired watching Jessie Ventura and Macho Man. Lol!
They were great as a tag team. Should have gone on longer
"Chico finally got caught with a referee that understands Hispanyolll!!"
I lost it at that line 🤣🤣🤣
Randy cool as ever coming in that interview all smooth lol
The coolest dude on the planet
Love this! Classic Ventura and Savage
"I changed my mind." "Yes I did." I changed my mind." lol Savage was great!!!!!!!!!!!
I love that Jesse Ventura keeps calling Tito Santana "Chico" Santana.
Me too.

Two big players in the 80's worldwide explosion of wrestling 🇦🇺👍🏻
God, I miss promos like this!
Ventura’s stare at the end……priceless.
Anyone remember when Professional Wrestling Championship Titles/Belts held so much prestige? It made Professional Wrestling look like an actual sport.
WWE is kind correcting it with Roman. Belts were being passed around like a two bit hooker.
Toronto! I was there at the Maple Leaf Gardens back in 1986/1987 for a WWF event.
This is just awesome! Made my day! Thanks, brother! 😎
Great tag team.......... Very entertaining!!!!👍

*predator imitating* “ohhh yeah!!”

Sad to say that starting to look like a good idea 🙂

Jessie always calling Tito… Chico Santana lol

Savage, Rock, Piper and then Flair.
Dusty Rhodes
Jesse Piper Hawk Flair!
Hilarious moments I wish pro wrestling was still the same. Some things never needed to change and old school wrestling was one of them.
Looks like The Grateful Dead meets the muppets lol
I was just thinking that this seemed like a Muppets skit lol this is a killer promo lol
😂😂😂
Wow Jesse Ventura does a killer will sasso impression and macho man kills the Dan soder one.
The stare down that Jesse "The Body" Ventura gave Billy Red Lyons right at the 3:29 mark was absolutely priceless man.
Haven't seen Billy Red Lyons in forever, that was fun
Yap 3 legions

The whole world has been talking about Pedro Morales facing Steve Lombardi.
1985-1987 were the funnest years. long live Jack Tunny... Having a ref that understood ESPANOL hahahahah
2:14 Interesting Savage used the behind the wrestling business term "that is a big big rib."
wow microphone magic right there with Jesse and Macho oh yeah !!!
I remember these promos from way back.
Leaping Lanny and Macho Man were blood brothers....never new that

Love the quick glances and turn aways from MM 😆
Was Jesse doing double duty as a commentator and performer at this point?
Yes. This series of matches would end up being his final ones though.

Wrestling was so much better before Vince convinced them that they are actors in an action adventure series.
