I can’t seem to get the mattress to fold right - it’s like the Velcro keeps it too tight to fold

I have the same problem. Saw on other forums that the wheels may be on the wrong way but mine is set up the same as the instructions and this video so I'm not sure.
Did you ever get yours sorted?

This is prefect size for a minivan, but Ikea discontinued it due to a folding recall. They only sell the double sized loveseat version of it which is too big for me

I hope I´ll be able to assemble it by myself and without the drill because I don´t have any!! Do you think it´s possible to finish it and tighten the screws without the drill? Only by hex key (imbus) and my human force? I´m not sure...

Of course you can do it :) All you have to do is a Phillips screwdriver, one Allen key and a tightening key ... and you can definitely do it :)
