Thanks Pip for cleaning up a beach one piece of plastic a time! And awesome work for the boys on the fin-box build ... if that ain't hands-on home schooling !
Nice job on the surfboard repair. FWIW, my son spent a summer in the Dominican Republic shepherding a bunch of teenagers. While there they witnessed a sea turtle come up on the beach and she had to push plastic bottles and other plastic trash out of the way before she could dig a nest and lay her eggs. Very, very irritating that people won’t properly dispose of trash.
Beautiful happy wholesome family loving what you do. A pleasure to watch you guys. Much love from Naughty Nana Jude from Woody Point in Queensland on the Coral Sea ❤ .
Eleuthera has changed so much. Wow!! Back when I crewed for my gramps these islands saw few tourists and the economy was almost entirely dependent on the growing of pineapples. My second visit coincided with the Commonwealth country's Independence and it was obvious that the administration was encouraging US investment from tourist companies. My sons played beach cricket with local boys during our last sailing to the islands in the 90s. I imagine it's all baseball now, following the development of US bases on the main island. Moorings are clearly far better today too.
Good on ya to show the fun a family can have on this earth with so much water to play in! Spanish Wells is my favorite because the people but Eleuthera is a close second just more tranquil due to the lack of good anchorage’s year round without being able to easily get to the reefs on the Atlantic side as much. It is what it is so beautiful. Thanks
Yeah, sad-- too much trash, too few crabs on that first beach. I'm sure you'll do your part; Pippi sure did. Abandoned ruins are always fun. Them hogfish aren't pretty but I hear they're tasty? And the rite of passage on a tropical island: the challenge of getting your coconut open.
1:50 (ish) Respectng short runs in the Caribbean is a VERY good idea. I was stunned when I learned that the strait between Cuba and USA (aka Florida Straits) is FOUR KILOMETERS DEEP.
Funny story. The Governor's Harbour (yes, it's spelled Harbour even on American maps) was founded by the governor of BERMUDA not Bahamas. 🙂I guess GPS wasn't as good back then.
3:55 And my heart breaks again. SO much plastic waste in the Caribbean. And the farther south-southwest you go the more there is. It is truly heartbreaking to see this wonderful place being so heavily polluted. And this is not even the worst part of it. As you go further south you will see dozens if not hundreds of sunken boats in every harbor. People just abandon their cheap junk they bought in Europe for 40-50k euro and fly back home. Their adventure turns into a "look we traveled the world" Instagram page but their boat remains a piece of waste for decades. I feel so helpless seeing all this.
I still don't see you doing the BEST thing to do on a sailing boat - TOWING PEOPLE BEHIND THE BOAT! It's SO much fun. Just unpack yout SeaGo pack and take out the flag thingie. Throw it in the water and tow behind the boat in case one of the cherubs lets go of the tow rope. And stop covering the screen, Archie's already seen this comment.
2:35 I was hoping you would somehow miss it. 😞THIS is the UGLIEST bridge I have ever seen. (Insert a long and angry rant about brits having the aesthetic abilities of giraffes.) You'd think that in a place as beautiful as this, they would at least TRY to build something nice. Instead they build such a monstrocity that a guided missile would be an improvement.

It’s crazy how it all ends up on these remote beaches 🥲

Thanks so much. Love woody head!

It didn’t feel touristy at all compared to other islands and to be honest there weren’t that many people around, hardly any locals too.

A stunning place for sure!
Another great video guys
Thanks again!
Love this episode! Have y’all ever had a close encounter with a shark?
Yes - only when spear fishing as the sharks want an easy feed 😉
Nice repair ~

Thanks Frank!
I love eluthera and Spanish wells
Special place huh?! 😊
What a beautiful part of the world! Thanks for sharing!
Our pleasure!
I love Eluethra. I was there about 30 years ago. Enjoy! I stayed that club med. It had an amazing kids club..it was a hurricane that took it out.
Oh wow. It’s sad they didn’t rebuild then.

Boys got Zoomies!
Is ciguatera still a problem with the reef fish?
Yes in certain ones and it varies from place to place.
12:08 Funny thing about Bahamanian toponyms. Eleuthera is a Greek word, while Exuma is a local dialect.
6:45 Kris is ready for grandkids! 😀
Should Archie really be holding a knife so close to his chest? Great vlogs!
He’s quite skilled with a knife. Thanks for watching ☺️
Not one word about Glass Window Bridge, the Blush pink sand, or the 1897 Haynes Library that you climbed on, walked on and past. I'm so disappointed.
Sorry to disappoint 😥

Coming up in a video soon!
Archie got rid of his sexy dreads! 😞 Did you have to saw them off? 😀
1:18 Yeah, you laugh! Just wait till marijuana gets legalized in Australia and watch your kids' hydroponic garden bring MILLOINS!
2:40 Archie wins The Most Bada$$ Jump of the Year (aka MoBaJu Award). Does he rehearse these before the shoot? Who is his stunt double?
