I passed the NCLEX about a year ago (by watching these vids.) but I still enjoy being educated again by Nurse Sarah....easily the most charming Nurse around! Keep up the good work!
I just wanted to say thank you for these informative videos! I literally binge watched all your videos this summer while printing your notes and passed my NCLEX yesterday! Thank you so much !!!
Thank you so much. You are a blessing to me. You made the teaching so simplified. Please can you help to teach on all different EKG disarrhythmia(problems). And their management.i will appreciate, if you do. Thank you
You will learn that after nursing school. You will not be able to remember everything, I frequently visit this hannel to remember many things, this is so helpful in my nursing career.
VERY WELL PRESENTATED : you have the ability to TEACH complex medical subjects . TO PRESENT A SUBJECT with the words to deseminate the knowledge is the main objective of TEACHING . NOT ALL ARE GIFTED FOR THIS ; highly educated PEOPLE may not be able TO MAKE OTHER UNDERSTAND * ( TO MAKE OTHER UNDERSTAND IS THE KEY TO TEACHING !)
Thank you so much for your channel!!! i am an out of work RN right now and get worried about keeping up my knowledge. Ever since I found your channel I check in every day on things I can brush up on or learn from you. And btw...you are a great teacher. Thank you again and always wishing you the very best.
Hey Sarah, I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you really helped us a lot with your teachings. I just passed my NCLEX exam using your content especially for those topics that I am really having a hard time understanding. Thank you! God bless you and your family! More power all the way from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
Hi Ms. Sarah! I always watch your video. It's really a great help to me while I'm preparing my nclex exam. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. May God bless you and your family.
hi nurse Sarah! im a huge fan and consider you a mentor. blessed to have you teaching us. I was wondering if you could make a video on angina for us? m
Exceptional video! Always are great and extremely informative. I combined a high dose Losartan-HCTZ with high dose Prazosin and about blacked out from being really hypotensive. Always be careful with mixing antihypertensive medications and diuretics especially if you have electrolyte imbalances and don’t drink enough water.
I used Amlodipine for maybe a year. It worked, but it made me feel "drugged." I wondered if I was the only one who had this reaction. So I went online and found a website where people expressed their experience with prescription drugs. To my surprise, I found I was not even close to the only one! Amlodipine had a negative effect on my exercise performance, though it is not "supposed" to have that effect. I quit Amlodipine, and did not give a hoot what my doctor had to say about that. I am not a nurse, let alone a doctor, but my experience with, yes just this one CCB, was not at all pleasant. No doubt Amlodipine or another CCB will work just fine for many people.
Hello, your channel is amazing! I've been out of practice for 10 yrs and planning to back to my nrsg career. I'm also wondering if you also have an App to download. :) you are a great teacher :)
In heart failure, this medicine even make cardiac muscles more relax. Cardiac muscles are weak and they can't contract well enough to provide blood to the body in the heart failure condition so cardiac glycosides are recommended for this condition. Such as digoxin which inhibits sodium potassium ATPase and increase calcium level in the myocardium cells which will eventually help contract out heart muscles.
Excellent information, the worry is GPs just add more and more drugs to combat the side effects of other drugs , before you know you’re taking 8 different drugs, they need to concentrate on getting people off medications
I'm just curious. Do any of these drugs cure the issue they're being prescribed for ?? Because I don't really care about the side effects it's going to give me... is it going to cure my condition ??? Simple logic why would I take this if it's not curing anything.. 🤦🏾
