The game itself is okayish I liked the style of Digimon world and 2003 more, but the diversity of how many you can evolve AND devolve again is absurdly good. Wish the next digimon game has those components combined and give me golden sun already god damnit.
This is why I prefer Digimon over Pokemon, they're both cool franchise but Digimon have more variety to one. Not so many Pokemon can evolve into different type other than its line, only impressive one is Eevee who can be almost any type when evolve. Digimon on the other hand has so much to choose from, just one starter and it depend on how player want them to grow. It gave you more freedom to play how you want.
And that's just with 200+ Digimons. There are way over 1000+ already in existence - and each new season makes that number grow significantly. And yes, most of them ARE interchangeable, despite "not making sense" for an anime fan like myself. But I have separate preferences for the anime and for the game. Digivolution is kinda like the Pokemon evolution thing but if it was done in the Xbox 360 game Fable. Basically, treating your digimon in a good/bad way while they are at specific levels and with certain moods determine what digimon you will digivolve into. If you treated your digimon like crap, you’ll likely get an evil digimon (or more unforgiving, you’ll get the literal personification of crap in the form of a Numemon/PlatinumNumemon. Which makes sense as it describes the digimon’s data being corrupted after being a terrible ally/trainer).
Is it possible that Digimon World 1 will be remastered or come out on file in the Playstation Store? Best with some extras, more digimon, bigger story, online arena battles, etc. I love this game. Can you vote on any Playstation or Bandai site?

they've just released an update. added 7 more digimons. Shinegreymon / Miragegaogamon / Rosemon / Ravemon burst mode, Valkrimon, Darkdramon and the 1st Ultra level digimon, the almighty glass cannon Chaosmon.
I LOVE THE GRAPHICS, I LOVE THE OLD AND NEW DIGIMON THEY GOT IN. But I really wish you could have one digimon as your partner. And digivolves on battles. would be more epic. Fast paced battles like Digimon Rumble Arena are the best so using your digimon rather just ordering attacks would be better
@@gohanossjz391 In the DS game Digimon Story Lost Evolution, you can actually digivolve both the Palmon and Lalamon lines to Rosemon. The PSP Digimon Adventure game also had Palmon warp digivolve to Rosemon.
I'm new to Digimon game so don't bash me please. But I saw a Digimon (for example: Lilymon) can be Digivolved to by 2 different Digimons (Togemon and Sunflowmon). Is there any different between these two Lilymon? And is that because the show did it wrong? Because I remember, Veemon was digivolved from DemiVeemon. Same goes to Armadillomon and Hawkmon.
Digimon typically only follow a single Digivolution line when partnered with a human in the anime for simplification, but a single Digimon can follow many routs. For example, in Savers, there's a character who has an Agumon, but the line is different from the one in Adventure, conversely, Palmon from Adventure and Lalamon from Savers have different Champions and Ultimates, but the same Mega. Most of the time in the games there's really not much difference regardless of the line you take. Though the prerequisites are different for evolving say, Angewomon into Ophanimon rather than Magnadramon.
Don't worry about that, digimons can digivolve to anything except if have a partner. for example a digimon with partner like agumon he evolve to greymon or geogreymon. but if a agumon wild digivolve can digivolve to this 2 or a tyrannomon or a numemon, whatever, they data make them evolve to a random digimon if they are happy, sad, or good and evil emotions.

This game has taken out a big chunk of Digimon from previous games (like Lost Evolution) including other modes like Burst Mode. I guess mostly In-Training Digimon were removed but cool lines like the Apollomon and Dianamon line are no longer there. I guess you can't make a bunch 3D models, well you could but this game seems to be low budget. Some digivolution lines seemed kinda botched too... and I have to wonder why they went with the Japanese names for some Digimon (Cherubimon = Kerpymon, Phoenixmon = Hououmon) and also literally romanization names like Kurisarimon. They could've just said Chrysallimon. I mean they used Goblimon instead of Goburimon. Still I guess all of this is just nitpicking and they did add a few new Digimon. Would've liked to have seen Hackmon's digivolutions inbetween Jesmon (BaoHackmon and SaviorHackmon). Perhaps in the next Digimon 3D game there'll be even more Digimon added with better quality models. Though it's probably just a stylized thing. Ah well, been rambling on long enough.

The only ones I thought didn't really make sense were the slapped-on final evolutions for mons that didn't have them in the shows, like Shakkoumon... And even some of those they did right, like Silphymon.
Though I'll freely admit that I have no idea what the hell they were thinking with Gomamon->Frigimon->Mozaemon->Minervamon. Like, what the actual what?
This game didn't have nearly the amount of Digimon i was hoping for. It could have had a much better roster if they didn't waste any space with the Baby and Baby II ranks.

The 10 Legendary Warriors not being there was also bad. I mean the gameplay would fit the series but for a PS Vita and PS4 game they could have included every Digimon they had. Or at least better areas. I was looking forward to actually going into the Digimon World and exploring the zones, not that Eden crap.

Digivolutions confused me before, and I’m even more confused after watching it.
Digivolution is not a set path of evolution, in fact some digimons may cross into other digimon's evolution lines and vice versa
