one of the best repair videos on youtube. I have a 03 Camry with a noisy compressor I was hoping to get one more year out of, but now I will probably just do the job myself. Thanks.

Why oil in condenser drier? Also do you think it is possible to release compressor from engine and pull away slightly just enough to get access to clutch for bearing noise repair?
There is oil flowing throughout your entire A/C system. If you pull one component, you have to assume that you are pulling some of the oil out also. Replenishing the oil will ensure the system has the correct amount of oil...Not sure on moving the compressor if that will give you access. There is not very much play with the lines attached.
Just curious why you took the oil out and then replaced it on the compressor? Could one just leave the oil in the compressor that it comes with? Also do you have to replace the condensor when a compressor needs replaced or is it just recommended?
Although not required, it is recommended to drain the factory oil and refill with new. I also did partially to ensure I had the UV tracing oil throughout the entire system. In general, when a compressor seizes up it has a tendency to shoot metal fragments down the lines into the condenser which will clog it up. The A/C system on this vehicle had not be in operation for more than 10 years. I suspected that metal fragments were also pushed into the evap coil. However, I first replaced the condenser and compressor and was still having problems so I ended up having to replace the entire A/C system. ua-cam.com/video/V0I6sKrA_eE/v-deo.html
