ABC presents its second action packed series from the creative minds at Marvel in Marvel's Agent Carter, inspired by the feature films Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger and Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, along with the short Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.
Years before Agent Phil Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier) who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren't recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts.
But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.
It's 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field - putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the
wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers - aka Captain America.
When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy - the only person he can trust - to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for releasing these weapons of mass destruction. But Jarvis, who is a creature of habit and sticks to a rigid daily routine, is going to have to make some major life changes if he's going to be able to keep up with Peggy.
If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison - or worse. And as she delves deeper into her investigation, she may find that those she works for are not who they seem, and she might even begin to question whether Stark is as innocent as he claims.

Late to the game, just binged both seasons, now im pissed this show was cancelled. I thought it was really fucking good. And Haley Atwell is adorbs.

Did anyone else get irrationally excited when seeing Haley Atwell in Age of Ultron or was that just me?
I read about it before seeing the movie, speculated about how they were going to do the scene, and was extremely excited!

Marvel TV should get someone other than Jeph Loeb to moderate these panels. The intro for the AOS one was way too long, without really saying much. The intro for this panel can also be much shorter, and have more audience questions.

i loved this show, its was great.
look at hayley, she is so beautiful and such a badass. she turned peggy carter into a character with much bigger role in MCU than she had in comics which is crazy and awesome, all because of the fans who love hayley and her portrayal.
when i see photos from her photo shots i wanna cry of how amazing and good looking she is. i would kill for a woman like her so i suggest to chris evans who is also hot as she is and has a good chemistry with her, i tell him go and get her.

Marvel need to stop putting Agent Carter and SHEILD panels together. Agent Carter gets a shitty deal in comparison. 20 mins in an 85 minute panel is taking away my Hayley Atwell fangirling and that's bordering on criminal.

is no one else going to talk about the bonkers amount of chemistry between atwell and d'arcy?! they're both single, as far as i know. damn well shipping that shit. called it on the show too, peggy and jarvis are supposed to be just friends but every sweet little friendly moment between them is a little compromised by the sparks between the actors. thought i was imagining it until i saw this panel...
Yes I love their friendship off screen and tho I love love Steve and Peggy Steve and Jarvis are somehow against my better judgement and despite comic canon are so . Shippable. I hope we get lots more scenes with the two of them ! Altho both r amazing on their own .❤️

So in my mind Steve made a deal with a cosmic entity. It allowed him to remain in the past, but he had to relinquish the super soldier serum. When people see him he looks like Daniel Sousa.

I can't really pinpoint why I love The 100. Something hooked me from the start, and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I watched the entire first season in a day.
I will say that while watching any TV show I am a stickler for good characterization, which is something The 100 excels at. The show has so many gut-wrenching moments that have put me on the edge of my seat. I once literally fell on the floor.
Friends of mine have tried the show, and they told me they feel as though the "post-apocalyptic survivors" concept is overdone and unoriginal. I had the same thoughts before starting it, but they were quickly forgotten when I fell headfirst into the very unique and fresh take on the concept. It is really nothing like I thought it would be, and I mean that in the best of ways.
I have had friends flat-out roll their eyes because they think The 100 is unrealistic. If there is a moment here or there that I think could not happen in real life, I remember that this is a science fiction television show set in the future.
As for what I would compare it too, I honestly can't say. It's not like anything else I personally enjoy watching. I don't know if that's the unique style of The 100, or the fact that I don't watch a lot of different shows. Although, knowing my Netflix habits, it's definitely the former.
My advice would be to try an episode or two. It can't hurt. If you don't like it then there's no shame in that. If you have any more questions about the show please feel free to ask. I hope you end up enjoying it!

TBH, my TL;DR comment above really doesn't even scratch the surface on the incredible depth of The 100. There is so much more I could say!
My favorite show hands down and my favorite Panel of this years Comic Con.
It's 8 years later and Hayley Atwell just co-starred in the latest Mission Impossible film with Tom Cruise. She's an amazing actress and deserves all the praise in the world.
