Well, a lot of maquisards fought with SOE supplied weapons, like Lee-Enfields, Stens and Brens. Also, there are Jedburg agents on your team. They came from everywhere. And there are even people speaking French! What more do you wish for?
@@YoatinoI think that's highly likely. There were Morrocan troops in the French Army defending France. They could have joined the resistance after the armistice. Don't forget that Germans had executed French colonial troops that surrendered.
There were also a fair number of Spanish Republicans in the French resistance that had fled from Spain after Franco won.
@@bwarre2884 i'm mostly saying that morrocan resistants weren't in France for obvious reason, but they sure help a lot in North Africa.
@@Yoatino Moroccan troops fought in the French Army in France. The Moroccan Spahis fought for example near Sedan in 1940 against the Germans. It is probable that some of them joined the resistance after the armistice, just as Spanish Republican refugees did.

I saw this previewed maybe six months ago and it looked great! XCOM but with a gritty WW2 style story. Seemed absolutely perfect for me. It's a game I'll definitely be buying on payday! Thanks Dave, as always, for your great content!

Right, where do I start, this is a great game, which you don't seem to understand. You don't fill the stealth bar up by 'generating noise' , this records the number of stealth kills, even if no 'noise' is generated. (later unit upgrade) . It defines the number of stealth kills before the team goes loud with an ambush opportunity.
So if i win this game will i spawn in a 1944 Hoi game?

There are 3 types of games nowadays: lazy-made (i.e. indie) platformers with "pixel graphics " (which require GTX 2090 to run them on minimal settings), turn-based quirky top-down view games and AAA projects

Sad thing is there are good Indy games that are overlooked because they are not pretty enough for certain people, palworld, helldiver's, and spacebourne 2 come to mind
I'm sorry but this type of game only works with aliens, apocalypse or some other fantasy settings for me.
